I agree with Spoone because if they were translated like you want them to be it would lose it's magic as a song. It wouldn't be any fun to sing at all.

Please do not change the translations to make them seem so literal. The title is Bird's Poem, therefore I believe the words should be more poetic (for example, it should be hands not fingers, and it should be storm clouds instead of cumulonimbus clouds)
