You don't shade using your finger, you actually color lightly and eventually it'll get darker. To learn what to draw, I imagine it inside my head then carefully lay it out on my paper (using my mind). I'm like a sike-ick! What is Mangaka? Manga arist or something?

hmm..yeah..i think.. oh i dont use my finger to shade but still my hand got messy.( you know, i don't have skill much in shading hahaa)... using own imagination is the best..yeah, but not all people are gifted with such creativity... i had seen some mangaka start drawing from Ol-< (stick man)  |

It depends on the pencil sometimes. I use these special pencils that can show really light but sometimes the image doesn't look the way I want it. It doesn't matter cause I'll outline them, trace them in black ink, then color them. XD hmm, I might draw something 2mrw and post it here...if I finish. XD

Oh, so you call that tracing... Hehe, i didn't know that, english isn't my first language after all...:P Le0na_j0edz, of course not, i believe you drew that on your own... I'm just amazed how the picture can turn out to be quite a perfect copy... Great skill!^^ So far the only person i know that can copy pictures very well is... My dad O.O when i was little i asked him to draw piccolo from DBZ, he did and... wow it's as if the picture was scanned O.O And my dad doesn't have any education or hobbies or anything concerning drawing... Great hands he has there... |

Hehh, finally i upload it... All i need is your opinion on the coloring, of course anyone else can give me some tips too if you think there's some parts that need to be fixed. I think i did a horrible job on the hair... Nice work Sai. XD I saw on Comcast that they had previews of this one anime con and at it...they had a program called Manga Pro or something. You can create your own manga and what not and those people at the con could send it in and if they win, they can have their very own Manga. XD Not anime of course..... Once again I'm lazy and I woke up late so I couldn't draw anything. I'll try and get one up soon guys!

@Eternal, why do you always comment me everywhere we post together. I can tell "that" person your "true" feelings, XD j/k *sighs* My family is forcing me to go on some picnic 2mrw but I don't wanna. Plus waking up early in the summer is not my thing. Further more...drawing pics will take longer then I thought. T-T

@Sai what can I say?, you are good..Its hard for me to explain it..but I will try my best.. the eye (sharingan)- maybe you should bold the 'line' on the Iris (i mean the cirle in eye.. hair- did you use air brush for shadow? the larger the scale the blur it get.. I think you should reduce the shadow if its hard to reshape the hair.( because the original pics totally black, its hard too imagine which line should be draw) Or you can shadow again to get best shape( well practice make perferct) overall, you did a great job there..at least you know to figure which side of bright/dark.. even you said dont bother about background. I still want to say..just erase the word and let it empty like that..because it bother me. |

@arcshiki Thx!^^ Well, for the hair shadows i just mark the area where i want to color blue with a lasso tool, then i fill the color... Hmm, maybe i should check the site you showed in your previous posts... Hmm, maybe next time i'll try to color my own drawing... Once i have a scanner, that is... T.T Oh, btw, i'd like to ask about something else... Is there other programs you can use for coloring out there? Besides photoshop? Because in some manga scanlation, there are some fan-colored pages that makes me think "No way it's done with photoshop..." -_- |
