LOL @miharu you work under katsuhiro?WOW....you must have lot of experience hey, i like to draw manga too..but very busy and always miss that gempakstarz competition. here a piece of my comic (first page).need some commend and critics (gulp). later I will post the second page (if there someone demand the story)..   |

Well, i'm only in the first 3 months with Katsuhiro. Trying to get work on sony games or any games companythat is offering sum character design batch. BTW, nice work, only if you put a little shadowy effects, it would be perfecto. Oh great, I found back my character design... I forgot for which manga.. But it is rejected because she is too sissy!  Hey, I wanna see the rest of your story... XDXDXD Oh..sumthing stuck in my teeth.. |

| Gee, I'm not a very good artist LOL, but one of my female friends is making a manga with characters designed to look like me and my friends! And she said that soon the character designed to look like me will get his time to shine in his own chapter! Sugoi! I'm looking foward to seeing it! |

My God, I didn't even view this thread until now- I thought it was just a made up thread; but it's REAL drawings- so much talent. Arcshiki, your comic is very good! I'm not just saying that because we are cool, it is really good! And I'm a harsh critic! I'll rate it out of 10 compared to top-class magna Kenshin (the Shishio Arc is the greatest Manga ever - a 10, which I would almost never give out, not even to Naruto, a 9). (Artwork) Your characters display emotion, that is most important, and the art is pleasant to look at. Of course your ability will be put to the test when you have more drama/comedy/imagaintion come later. But for now, this is excellent, as it draws me in. (8 out of 10) (Writing) The story is interesting because I WANT to know what happens next, and I can relate and feel it. The only way to improve is to use ideas and imagination that really makes me think, as in Kenshin, and also drama, as in Sailor Moon and Angel Sanctuary. (8 out of 10) (Style) The style is excellent because it is very original and appealing. I can tell the person cares about their drawing; it's not "manufactured". Of course, color and years of practice will bring improvement improvement, but those are unfair factors at this point and time. (8 out of 10) I am very impressed by this, and it's hard to find anything to criticize about this comic because it does what it is supposed to by drawing me in, unlike much Manga which I think has become really lame ad manufactured. The only way you could get a 10 from me personally would be to write the next Kenshin, Sailor Moon, or Angel Sanctuary; it's the imagination and drama that makes them a ten for me. So, considering that, an average score of 8 is very good, and I do want to know what happens next. Post it soon! |

@miharu your kitten is SUPER CUTE..kawaaiiii XD @eman KAWAIII XD..you improve so much compare from what i see in the first post.. @eternal torture sorry if my english didn't make you understand...you can correct the right word for me if you feel something wrong with my words/meaning..because english is not my main languange..hehe... @shishio thanks..I really appreaciated your comments..thats why i need someone opinion to improve my comic...honestly, i do this because I like it(hobby)..I didn't take graphic course or whatever related to this..but i did read a book called 'how to draw manga'..I learn so much from that book and keep my spirit burning to draw a manga...once again thanks.. oh, i had add the pages to 7..maybe 8...well still on progressing/ process...and I skip to draw background..i'm not good to draw background..have to keep practice.I would be glad if there someone could help me to draw background haha... maybe later I will post two pages once if this comic too slow (really, draw manga take lot of work..I wonder how they draw million of pages)...  |
