Ah, sweet sixteen. I remember having ice-cream cake on that day ^^. Can someone teach me how to put my pics up as thumnails? I know I saw someone posting about it somewhere, but forgot, heh ^^;  |

Since this is an anime drawing thread, I thought I'd stick this in here for the hell of it.  It's a little sketch of Legato(Trigun) I made. Kinda sucks though. I know I'm not proud of it. ~ S.A. |

@hisoka that is how i did it before... but i learned my lesson.. it only changed the dimension of the image but if you'll notice the filesize is still the same... try this one: < center>< a href="URL">< img height="300" src="path/th_filename">< /a>< /center> see the difference? from 74K -> 3K question: how to post a code? ^_^" |

@leona: Haha, nice ones! Especially the chibi version of leona shark. I luv chibis' ^^ Ok, now my turn. YAY! My scanner's fixed! I haven't posted for awhile and I was planning to post a short one page comic strip for werrior, but I'm trying to colour it right now so it'll be awhile. Thus, i'm posting these images as you can see here. They're just some old sketches I'm working on from an old comic I used to do, but have stopped doing it. Click on the images below to see it in full view.     The plot of my comic is not that clear even to me. All I can say is that the story is set in modern Japan where ordinary people live ordinary lives and to their eyes may seem that way. However hiding amongst these ordinary people are individuals that possesses some sort of power which can either be a blessing or a curse. Those who know about the existence of these individuals would become afraid of their powers so they sometimes drive them away, treating them as freaks. My story revolves around five girls who are such individuals who attend 'Himawari High' school. The girls are still in the process of mastering their own powers while trying to blend in as normal high school students, but then sometimes when they feel angry or distressed their powers would unleash themselves with disasterous results. Here is where everything began. From left to right: The first one is Yumei. She's 17 and has dark brown hair and light brown eyes. When she calls upon her powers they would turn silver. Yumei is actually a sweet girl, but acts tough around her classmates. Her power is to cast illusions, kinda like hypnosis. Brief eye contact is all she needs to put her powers to work. The time period for how long her illusions last is never consistent since she's still trying to get a grip on her gift. The bad thing is that whenever she does it, the illusions would project what the person fears most. When she was little a childhood friend of hers died from a weak heart when she had unconciously unleashed her gift. She still feels guilty over her friend's death to this day and thus keeps herself away from people for fear of the same thing to happen again. Animals are naturally attracted to her. (Comments on pic: The challenging part was trying to make her look more like a girl. My earlier drafts always made her look like a boy and this skecth is the best I could do. The pose and the kitty are done by me. No reference whatsoever) The next one is Ryoko. She's also 17, with liquid black hair and black eyes. They turn yellow when she calls on her powers. She's also the main character and the story is mostly centered around her. Ryoko's mom knows about her powers and loves her very much, but is too afraid to deal with it personally. So she packs up Ryoko's stuff and sends her to a place of her own near her new high school. Ryoko is a quiet girl who loves dark places and likes to wear black clothes. Her power is to control shadows. She can also open up an abyss where things are known to never come back once they fall in. She has a little brother who shares the same characteristics as her and unlike his mom is not afraid of his big sis. He would visit her when he starts to miss his big sister, aww...( i adore him very much ^^) (Comments on pic: I love doing the hair. If this was coloured almost everything would be black with some grey tones here and there to make it more shadowy and her eyes should look yellow) Thirdly we have Elena whose 16, a Japanese-caucasian with light blonde hair and purple eyes that glows a mean intense shade of violet when she calls on her gift. She's very soft spoken as well as timid and shy, which makes her an easy target for bullies. She has the power to give life (or heal) - and even take life. When experiencing great amounts of distress and fear a single touch from her can kill you. Yes, just like that (snaps fingers), but only with direct skin contact. When she was just a baby all she did was brought death to every houshold she's been to. At the age of eight she learned to control her gift. Eversince then she thought of it as a curse and only discovers about her other side of her gift later on in the story. She was adopted by another family who are also aware of her gift, but loves her anyway and would do anything to keep her happy. (Comments on pic: The hair was the fun part to do. Can't say much about the rest of her though, heh.) Lastly there's Kikyou. She looks 16, but the fact is that she's actually maybe more than five hundred years old. She has light brown sun-streaked hair and seafoam green eyes. Somehow she gained immortality, but as of how is currently unknown. She's telekenetic as well as a telepath. Kikyou speaks very polite Japanese, is cool headed, intelligent and reserved in her emotions since she had been brought up by a shinobi mother and a samurai father back in the Warring States. She's on some quest for vengence kinda thing, killing generation after generation of her enemies that had killed her parents. Won't go in detail here. Too lazy, heh heh... (Comments on pic: I know there are two girl's, but the fact is they are both the same person. The one on the left is Kikyou in the past who has black hair and straight bangs. The one on the right is the present Kikyou who dyed her hair. I tried to make their faces as symmetrical as possible, but failed miserably. They don't look that much alike :( XXXHolic fans would probably recognise the pose the two girls are doing from the 1st volume of the manga. Yes, I got very lazy to do my own poses so I copied CLAMP's, sorry. ) I know I said there are five girls, but I haven't got to making Nanami yet. She's the eldest so that makes her 18. She's cold and aloof and has no feelings of consideration for others. Her actions are mostly for the benefit of herself. Basically, a cold hearted bitch. She has red hair and brown eyes that turn red when she uses her powers. Emotion is the source of her powers strength. She can cause floods, earthquakes and calls on fire when angry or distressed. Probably the most terrifying of the five. Whew, sorry for the really, really long post, but I hope you guys can bear with me and my long descriptions. I just felt like I had to just so you can understand my characters better. Aniways. Gotta go. Next post won't come until I finish colouring my comic strip. |

@Haruka: Nice! Kinda like a black and white concept to it except we have here are lace, ribbons, lace, riboons, etc. Cute girl and yes of course you can put your drawings here.
