@ Ayanami: Like I said it depends on what you want to color it with. For markers I already told you, for pencils, the technique is the same; it takes pressure. For blending colored pencils (even gray scale)on clothes all you need is different shades of the same color. Ex: Maroon - Mahogany - Red You want to apply the darkest color first (Maroon) then go over maroon with mahogany & the uncolored area to give it gradiation. If you're gonna blend in two differnet colors, then be careful where you apply pressure. @ guardianamuka: anybody else? @ Dragonfly: Prisma Markers |

How long do your drawings usually take you? And that one you just posted very interesting I like it I look foward to the finished product.

| @ Silent Soldier: I'm not sure, when I draw I do it subconsciously while thinking about something completely different, so I can't tell you how long it took me to do any of the pics I posted. Though I know this is wrong, it felt like only 30 minutes doing it pencil & another 30 to go over it in ink. How long have you been drawing? |

@ Ninja Soup: I can relate to thinking about other things when drawing, my mind always seems to wander. If you really drew them in an hour that would be something but your right it was probably longer. Most of my drawings take weeks or even months if I am doing something really complicated and detail oriented, I guess that’s also due to me having to take a break from them. I have been drawing for about six years now most of that time was spent practicing getting my skills to where they are now.

| @ Silent Soldier: Weeks? Months? Wow that's LONG! I always finish mine in less then half a day. Unless it's some fancy school project. Six years now? If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? I don't see where you're coming from though about most of your time improving. For me, I've got this really weird thing going where whenever anyone talks to I kinda stare at them in this strange way that scares the crap out of them, but really I'm taking deep note on facial features, usually the eyes but nonetheless facial features. I don't really try to improve on my art, it's just whenever I come around to making another pic add in what I remember from that person into my art & it all comes out by itself, & I take my time to perfect certain parts I want to stand out. That's about it. |
