ThanX 4 all ur kind comments ppl ^^ That was my first post on this thread..I'll try 2 post up more..when i actually find time on my hands to do sketches+paintings^^ + itz not that I don't wanna colour them in..itz all the stress of courseworks + exams 4rm sch + "stuff"..u know @Pappy: beautiful work ^^+ she's communicating with me thru the screen O.o ^^*accepts present* @Izorue: that was my 1st post too! + ur's is looking hawt+pretty @mp4c: yes i can see the cheeky grin on his face..gr8 job! we've always "thought" bout this idea of burning down the school lol..^^yare yare the thing I wanna try most is graphics animation on the comp but i havent got the equipments for it yet..itz unreasonable 2 use a mouse isn't it lol..+ i got a heavy one here too....so izzit necessary 2 use a graphics tablet?  |

Well it has been such a long time since I posted here I have been so busy I missed alot there are some great new drawings and artists. @ XxHeartlessangelxX Well I think it all really depends on what you like. First I would say pick weather or not you want to draw fanart or do original characters. I personally do fanart of my favorite anime characters if you go back some pages you can see some of my work I have posted quite a few drawings. After you decide that I would just practice doing rough sketching getting a feel for drawing body parts and proportions etc. After you've got that it depends how detailed you want to go with your drawings if you draw already known anime characters and want to make them look correct then I would practice details like the eyes and hair. Don't worry if it doesn't come out good at first just take your time and get a feel for doing these things. Then once you've done a drawing I like to shade them and keep it just in pencil but some people color them it's totally up to you. Practice is really the key to drawing that and having fun and enjoying what you are drawing. Just try to draw something and see how it comes out and move on from there and if you draw something your proud of then post it here and let everyone see and we might be able to give you suggestions and stuff. Well good luck and I hope to see something from you in the future ^__^. @ *R3A a.k.a MoSHiNo* I think she's kawaii too and that she came out really well even if it is on the lighter side you can still see all the details and work you put into it very nice job. @ [ IZORUE ] A first timer well welcome I hope you have a good experience here and I think that your drawing is good no negative comments from me ^^ I hope to see more of your work. @ hmmmm Wow it must have taken you forever to write all of that. Your drawings are always really good keep it up I hope to see some more from you. @ Pappy Excellent work I love how it came out the shading, the cloths, the eyes very nicely done you would never know you just started drawing a year ago. I look foward to more from you. Well since I haven't posted anything in such a long time I thought now is as good a time as any here is a drawing I finished up a few weeks ago. @silent soldier it seems this is the 1st time we meet ^^silent soldier^^ i've been hearing about ur amazing artwork! hontou ne?! itz looking cool + the dark-->light shading really makes it stand out :P *thumbs up* btw, did u do that with something like photoshop etc? i've never drew/sketched/inked with any comp. programmes b4...dont even know where 2 start lol @HeartlessAngel i've never really drawn anime either, just rather recently actually..but I did start doing proper artwork a few years back..e.g. observations of primary things+ stuff..+ portraits ^^ just the classwork^^ well, all I can say is "Draw what you see" or use ur imagination(i can't!O.o)i prefer 2 look at something & sketch ^^ |

@ R3A Hey it's nice to meet you ^^, thank you for the compliment I am glad you like my drawing. And no I do not use photoshop or any computer programs to do my drawings they are all 100 % real hand drawn artworks. I have never used a computer to draw and like you I wouldn't even know where to start.

Hhhhhh.... Finally i'm finished... Okay, i've colored my last picture  There... Hope it's good enough, since i like it myself :P I can't believe it takes me 4 days to finish all these... I really have to get used to photoshop coloring X( I make one with some movement effects, and one clean... Which one do you think is better? |

And the second pic , it's even HOT with a "BOOM~~~!!!" or "BANG~~~!!! or ..... whatever sound effect you can think of , that might be it :P . Ah , Cel -Shading , I did use that effect before ! though I'm kind of "POOR" at explaining things even though I know about it , but I'll give it a shot :P Cel-shading is sort of used in many anime-based games (e.g : Gungrave , Fullmetal Alchemist) is an effect where certain section of it , let say your darker part of a character , instead of a gradual change of colours or shades from one to another , cel-shading does not . It jumps colours or shades from one type to another without the use of tones in between or using few OBVIOUS differential mid-tones that do not look the same value to people's eyes (It does not use the whole range of mid-tones) . This might be the explaination , it could be wrong (trying at least) , but I did use this effect on some of my art , so it could be it. That's it . Hehe it's pencil shading not charcoal but i did very light shadings with a 4h pencil thus the blurry effect. Thx for the support kinda new to this forumm will post more when i got the time ^^. |

here's another~pencil^^ our ojou-eri sawachika 4rm school rumble..(did this only recently)+ i'll try 2 do some with black ink..or even colour..just that i've been a bit hooked on some anime these few dayz^^ i will find time somehow :D in the meantime, i'll also scoop up some of my very first anime drawings etc^^brings back "old" memories(ps:no im not old)just to keep ppl occupied here +_+ |
