i wished i could have posted more of my art... but the devil woke up at the wrong side of his bed today, thus causing a leak in my roof, and damaged my scanner in during a rainfall... curse hell....

Hiya everyone!! Been a while huh? Wow, like 3 pages of new art! Oh my...well then, here I go! @Kura Kura Turtle, I love your style! All four pics are very stylish! @Mp4c, rainy days are cool!Your comic strips are fantastic man! I like the bridge one. Your arsonist one is funny, brings back fun memories! And yes, my midterms are finally over! And I have three pics to post today! @red rackham, both you and your bro have an amazing style. I hope to see more! @EmAn, your Ranma pic is great! I love that show! @Katsuomori, I love your pic! THere's an insane amount of detail there, so professional! @AngelYuki, that's...so...very...cute! @hmmmm, I love your angel pic! Fantastic job! The coloring is great too! @R3A, What an entrance! That's an adorable picture! Chobits is a tough art style to replicate and you really owned it! And your second pic continues your amazing talent! Another pro has arrived! @[IZORUE], that's a really cool pic! Reminds me of the bride from Kill Bill! Oh, I'm very sad to hear of your scanner woes...what a shame...but no worries, a machine can be repaired, but your talent is eternal! @Pappy, ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! It's so clean and natural! I can't wait to see more and more! @Silent Soldier, AMAZING, SENSEI! Athrun never looked so...real! The shadowing effects you use are truly incredible! @Sai, what an amazing transition! You're simply a pro! Few could top that! Phew! Okay now, during finals (in between finals) I drew three pics. I usually ignore shading extensively, but I wanted to train myself otherwise. I hope these show potential! Please offer as mcuh advice as possible. Except coloring. Just forget that lol.  This one's a female ninja from Red Steel.  This one's an original pic. My friend wanted an anime X-Men character.  This one took forever. It's based off of Gears of War, a game I bought recently. Ok, hope ya enjoy, please comment! |

@ Rea That's so cool O_O!.....Eri-chan is my fave character in Rumble! Love it!!!! You pretty much got the shading down pat...again like your Chi pic it has a very soft & subtle look to it. It really shows your dedication to detail esp. on the hair & the skirt. It would have been nice to see all of her but THANK YOU for allowing me to see this nonetheless. If you don't mind i would like to ask what kind of pencil you used...a regular HB or graphite pencils with different softness/hardness or mechanical. I use the latter & some graphite pencils. Anyways it's nice to see another talent on Gendou & i hope you will continue to grace us with more of your art! ^^ @ Roq* My word! O_O!!! that Gears pic is totally ....whoa....that's...yeah....i can see alot of work went into that one! Impressive! I also like the Red Steel ninja gal...& do you have a name for your X-men pic? As for advice...i think Silent Soldier would be a better teacher for pencil effects :) What i can tell is don't over do it...add just enough to make your pic stand out. Shading kinda makes the pic have a 3D look to it...it also adds some POP to it. Take account to where your lighting is coming from & work from there. Like alot of things it takes patience & practice. So work hard at it & you'll amaze yourself. Good luck! Okay i FINALLY picked up my new AIO & is able to show some new stuff....i have a few pics but only one is the way i wanted it to look. The others will probably be done by this weekend...i have a couple original pics from my manga "Destiny's Eternal"...i know kinda corny :P the other which i'm about to show is a little risque/sexy but i hope you guys/gals like it anyway. @ Roq Wow that Gears pic is really something it must have taken alot of effort and hard work to get that it came out really great. The female ninja and the original x-men character are nicely done too good job ^^. @ izumo O_O once again you have proven just how much talent and skill you have I am really impressed, I like the way her face and eyes came out as well as *ahem* some of her other attributes ^^ nice job all around.

OSHA~!!! @ Sai hmmm's right (lol, it's kinda weird to say that tebayo~) cell-shading is self-explanatory, shading by cells oωo it's like coloring anime-style, to make it all short dattebayo~! As for me, I just do soft shading, taking the advantage of airbrush and the smudge tools @ω@ @ R3A Your sketches amaze me oωo I idolize them, your outlines are rough and the shading looks as if it was sketched by a charcoal oωo I really love it~!! Make more tebayo~!! @ roqstar Nice anatomy oωo And with the details too~!! @ izumo Just as I expected, you're one of the best artists all around dattebayo~! The details of the hair, the sketching, and stuff oωo *bows down* We're not worthy~! We're not worthy~! XD  |
