HEY has anyone played the game samurai champloo sidetracked, I have not played it. BUT I red about it on a game site, just wanted to know if anyone has played it, to tell me how is it.

No not really. From what I remember of it you can swith between fighting styles or something, all the combs are at the top of the screen to see so you don't have to remember how to do some of them. everything can be linked together I think. A preview was on Xplay one day.  |

I saw the preview here in America, and the gameplay looks easy(not fun)!! I mean it looks ok, but I doubt it will play the same way tho'.

Yeah it was like one-two hit and they are dead next and so on. Maybe more of a rent type of game. Genji is way better. |

MAN BLAZE, I always thought a champloo game would have been grate, but it seems from what your saying it sucks. I surmise its true what they say, never buy an anime game the anime is always good but the game 99% of the time is horrible. ITS just like cowboy bebop the anime is good but the game bites.

the only anime game I 'kinda' wanted to take a look at when it came out was Fullmetal Alchemist: The Game. that looked pretty good and they have a 1st and 2nd game. Did they finish of that series or will their be a 3rd game also?

usually games that are made based on anime usually suck a lot, so i am skeptical on this game as well  |

*damn, my computer is being gay today, its being so slow, but im downloading Gimp to use* Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts are really nice games that really arent animes. Is final fantasy like over, or will it continue? I lost track a while back!

yeah it did. I wonder what new RPG's they will release in the near future. All I know, Ps3 will be incredible, and the games on there will be outstanding!! More realistic then 360, who I admit, has some pretty nice graphics as well!!

Yeah most anime games to suck rather bad. Gungrave is good anime like game. The anime show was based off the First Bad game. But the anime is great. Seeing how I haven't seen a full preview of Samurai Champloo game I have no clue if it will be good or not. At the time if you like love the show rent or buy the game. |

I have the game its fun (button masher but it can get hard, I'm stuck on mugens fourth level) but not all anime games sucked (at least not all the ones i played) zoids:battle legends-hard as hell story mode but a fun tourny style mode yu yu hakusho: dark tourny- its fun with shade-celled chars, however its hard to memorize all the good moves robotech: battle cry- awsome shooter one of my favorite and if you hated the .hack games then you have no sense of being.  |

Zoids had a game? I never knew that. The Gundam Seed/Seed Destiny games look good, but I've never got one.

To everyone, I bought this game but returned it. The credits, menus, and effects are really great. The problem is, it is relesed only in Japanese, you must brush up with your Kanji. The effects of Mugen (ala break dance kicks) seem almost the same as in the anime series, which is quite cool. The game is quite repititive, hence it is boring. In the end, it is not good, so I swapped it with Astroboy :-) |

Wait do you live in Japan? I just saw the preview for this game, THE FULL NEW PREVIEW on G4: E3. It looks hot, and what I said about the gameplay (Sword wise, etc...) is like the complete opposite. You can do complete sick 455 combo's and it's fun!! I might get this game! BTW, they translated it, obviously... XD

"455 hit combos". (or 45 if you just mistyped, but either way) "one-two hit and they are dead" These two don't mix. 455, 45, or even 10 hit combos are completely unecessary if they are taking a more realistic side to this game (much like the Bushido Blade games). |

I saw the game at a rental store near me, but I haven't seen it for sale. Is it good like whoever said or bad like ricci said?
