Gendous Journal?

I know Gendou had a journal sometime ago, and I wonder where it went. Anyone knows anything about it? My japanese name is 山下 Yamashita (under the mountain) 明 Akira (bright). |

| I do know that the journal was taken down for one reason or another. I saw a thread that somebody had necromanced... don't recall what it was about, but the journal was mentioned. Given the bandwidth problems they've been having, a journal certainly wouldn't help matters, I'm sure. |

Well, I've been doing some searching and here's the first thing I came up with. Then came this. And then this. So, I would be surprised if it came back, but it may still. |

When i originally made the journal system, the site was running with an Oracle database on the back-end. Upon siwtching to the gendou.com domain, all the code was migrated to MySQL, except the journal system. I decided not to bother with the journal system because, at the time, livejournal was becoming more popular, and the word "blog" took off big time. Now, it seems rather pointless to include a blog system in gendou.com. But, if there is a demand for it, I will put it back on my to-do list. :D

well, I liked the journal where you've been in Japan, but since I forgot my passw. to this site, I forgot to watch it and now it's not there anymore. means: I would have an interest in it, but if I am the only one, don't bother ;-) My japanese name is 山下 Yamashita (under the mountain) 明 Akira (bright). |
