I am a Malaysian, Kuro~~~!

Anime:
It shouldn't have been dubbed into malay..
It's not for kids. It's for kids, teenagers and alduts-!
Not every anime suitable for kids. Fight scene could be okay, bloodshed like no way, and fan servioe I dies-!
OMG, you meant every animation is for kids?-!!!

Hmm,

'most of anime otaku are teenage and adult though'

Okay, I can't answer this one..

They probably won't change at all, but sometimes they just have to stick with it cos nothing can changed the way people thinks-!

Maafkan saya tidak bermaksud ikut-ikutan, saya bukan dari Malaysia.
(Sorry, didn't mean to intrude, coz I'm not from Malaysia.)

Tapi sepertinya hal itu terjadi di seluruh dunia, bukan hanya di negeri jiran.
(But it seems that it happens worldwide, not just in Malaysia.)

Lihatlah sisi baiknya, tidak ada "orang dewasa" yang tahu tentang ecchi, fanservice, hentai, dan elfen lied.
(Look at the brightside, no "adults" would have known anything about those ecchi, fanservice, hentai stuff, and elfen lied.)

I malaysian.. the anime dubbed in BM is not good
i think is better dubbed in English than BM.. but the best is the original^^
the special feeling will not appear when you watch anime that dubbed in BM, must watch the original.

Anime is not only for children.. but it started to be make for children cause those old anime is not like the anime now.
Some of the anime is still with children program feature but some are not.
Nowadays, many anime involve deep conflict, romance, knowledge, action and adventure.. this show anime are for adult also.

Well.. some of the horror and violence anime is not suitable for kid, is too many fight scene with bloodshed,
this is the job of their parent to look after them +.+

Still.... i totally crazy OTAKU ^_^ .. i can`t miss any anime, i must watch all
HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!
ANIME ARE GREAT !!! THEY ROCKS !!!!!

-Yup!!! Totally agree with you guys - The dubbed version just... They better don't dub it and air the anime in Japanese...

-They are not proffesional and one seiyuu can go for three or four characters in an anime...

-And sometimes the "emotions" are wrong. I can't feel any changes when the characters are happy and sad.

-However, now they are airing more and more anime in local tv station but still don't like the dubbed version... The most satisfying dubbed version to me is Crayon Shin Chan...

-Do you know that they even dubbed Pokemon into BM? OMG... It's terrible. What's wrong with the english version? (almost fainted when I see the show)

-But me a Malaysian too... so Gambatei to our local tv station! Make our dubbed version proud!please...

Okay.. I can stand Malay vers but not English version-!! The english version sucks and I couldn't stand it cos it's so funny when u hear it.

Currently I'm not watching any malay version of anime. Cos' I have school and don't really want to watch anime, I watch cartoon at DisneyChannel. I watched anime at my computer...

Sometimes I watched Conan on my free time.. Nya--!!

M'sian over here too. :)

although it is a sad thing to admit, i have to say that i really loathe the dubbing of any anime AT ALL. i always feel that the voice actors never put in as much effort, if at all, into portraying their characters' personalities like their Japanese counterparts, and all the things we love about our characters get lost in that process i.e their quirks, strenghts, weaknesses, etc.

anyways, that's how i personally feel, no insult intended to anyone who prefers dubs ;)

I'd go for Japanese version as well, though there are some English version that are good (English version meaning American version, not some Malay-speaking English version)

BM dubbed anime version are scary. I accidently saw Pokemon once, and well, it scared the wits out of me. The English version is way better.

Even my parents complained that some seiyuu pitched their voices real high just so they could play the role as a child or something small. Scary..plus annoying.

Anyways, it's not that I'm against BM dubbed anime completely, some turned out quite nice.

I think you are right, Crusader. We better complain these to the local TV Station but I don't think they will aired the Original (Japanese) version...
And Fruit Basket is showing from 10 to 10.30a.m. in NTV 7 every Sunday and I watch it... Dubbed version just never works with me... So I think it's not worth to watch... Anyway did they aired Inuyasha? When is the show? I would like to watch it...

inuyasha on ntv7 friday 7.30pm.and of course it's dubbed.sounds kinda funny...
IMO eventhough we go and complained to the tv station nothing will change...
aku rase maybe bg diorang anime is 4 kids so kids will not understands nihongo.if they make subs, bdak x cukup laju nak bace so maybe tertinggal so diorang wat dub..
wat do u think??
it just my opinion...
