I've watched it once... really, the game before this one is totally dominated by Brazil. I hope this year's world cup will be more even.. I'll support England by the way... and I prefer Korea than Brazil.. (kinda bored to see brazil win again and again ^^)

I'm not running away from the bet... It's just.. I'll stick with the 100px regulation... so for now, this is mine ~_~"

England all hte way! I'd support Ireland but they didn't make it this year so I'm all for England.
They're bound to win eventually... (Last win 1966...)

Mexico!!!
Mexico!!!
Mexico!!!

I realize how unlikley it is for them to win but I still have to be optamistic. After all, we have Oswaldo S., Kikin F., Jared B., Rafa M. and Pavel P. to name a few.

I wasn't able to watch Mexico-Holland this afternoon though.

Edit: They lost 2-1
*Shakes head*

We've got some decent players this year.
And if Beckham stays the hell away from the ball we stand a good chance of getting to at least the quater-semi finals...

The only good player for England that I can think of right now is Wayne Rooney.

(Wayne is his first name right?)

Rooney can't play worth a shite.
We'd be better playing defence and relying on Nevile.
Rooney is his first name and HE CAN'T SHOOT STRAIGHT!
I'm a Man Utd. supporter so I deal with Rooney's bollocks aim all the time...

I remember that a guy called him Wayne on his JOGA BONITO clip...

Anyway, don't insult the man. He's the only good player England has.

He's the worst sod England could have turned out onto the team.
The whole country creid when he was put on the team.
Beckham and Rooney are the two most over-rated footballers in the UK...

Only Beckham not Rooney.

Is it possible that very few people here have interest in soccer?

Have you ever seen Rooney play in the FA Cup?
It's painful. I think he's second for most number of red cards.
He can't shoot and kicks the other team better than the ball.

I have seen him, that's why I almost idolize the man.
He's a good player, he has good intuition and he's got talent.

There are better players out there.
Watch Park Ji Sung orRuud Van Niestelroy (sp?) andyou'll see that Rooney is far from the best.
As far as England players go... If you remember David Seaman the England keeper from a few years ago you'll see one of my idols.
He was the best keeper England had...

Of course there are better players than Rooney. For example: Zlatan, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Zidane, Jared and others, but you cannot deny the fact that Rooney is a good player and deserves the chance to represent his country.

In penalties, Jorge Campos would make David Seaman look like an amateur.

Bollocks. Seaman held back Argentina like they were children. He hasone of the longest records of consecutive shutouts in English history.
Seaman was a god in the box. He had a hell of a boot an him and all...

Oh please, Argentina? Is that supposed to be an accomplishment? Anybody can stop them. Cuahtemoc humiliated them and that dude is Mexico's worse player. I don't know why you think stopping Argentina is something worth bragging about.

All right... He held up Germany to a nil-nil draw in qualifiers.
He could keep most smaller insignifigant countries from ever seeing a corner kick let alone a bloody goal.
He was still shutting out players half his age the world over in 98 when he was 45.
He's pure talent.
