there are programs that can convert from wma to mp3 but there will be quality loss. |

How much lost of quality Gendou when u convert the song? I have a very good converter which can convert songs to any format and any bit rate like 128k/s or 192k/s. If u increase the rate, will that increase the quality? |

if you start with a song that sounds like it was recorded inside a tin can, then re-encode it at 256kbps, the new file will be a very nearly perfect copy of the original, and therefore sound like it was recorded inside of a can. |

I wonder when the Upload option will be back online? I can upload songs from my CD's. Only thing is that the songs are in WMA format. |

you may not upload .wma files. please search download.com for an mp3 encoder. uploading will be turned back on once i have a chance to clean out the 100+ uploads sitting in there at the moment! |

Gendou. Perhaps u could put on some sort of notice telling users how to get the converter. Maybe u can put this instruction at the uploading page. This could make things more convinient and make the amount of uploads higher. The convertor I have is called Power MP3 WMA Converter. I have used it to convert all my WMA songs to MP3 and it's quite good even though u have to convert the songs 1 by 1 unlest u buy it but I am fine doing it this wat dough. U can even change the bitrate (example 128k/s - 192k/s). Got it from douwnload.com . |

Well for those people who can rip music for us from their CD's but can only do so to have the files be WMA format I suggest using MusicMatch Jukebox. You can rip CD's to MP3's. But that's all it really can do in the ripping department. It's free to download here MusicMatch
