I noticed there were a lot of SNK fans on a MI2 specific thread so I made this seperate one for ALL things SNK: KOF, Last blade, WakuWaku, all that classic SNK 2D goodness. Anyways, this first entry goes out to ARCSHIKI, Lucifer, Daisuki, and all the other bigtime KOF fans: King of Fighters XI is out now, and there are these crazy videos of new matches from KoF XI tournaments circulating on the web now. They recently and finally poped up for free on Combovideos.com homepage, and they are among the best KoF matches I've ever seen (also on that same site I saw an unbelievable 2001 match). Check out the new character, he wields cards and looks like he belongs in a horror anime. His leader super is one of the coolest I've ever seen. You HAVE to check this out. I can't believe what I just saw. Athena, not sure what year...  Oh, and there's one thing I want to start on this thread, whenever you make a post, you should list a favorite/best something from SNK anything. Something random. It'll add to the goodness. Here's my first- Hottest KoF girls- Angel, Kula , May Lee and of course short-haired Athena. Guess that made 2002 a pretty hot year ;) |

i loved 'king of fighters 97' metal slug pwnz!!! the gameplay is fun, and going to teh arcade to play is a good way to use all those pesky quarters ^_^ |

KOF ...the best 2d fighting ever... KOF 96 = revolution of final boss in KOF series..Goenitzs.even graphic good too.. KOF 97 = Revolution of power gauge..advance/extra plus more hidden character.. KOF 99 =introducing striker and k' and where Iori(hidden) also Kyo clone KOF 2001= The most extra ordinary final boss Igniz.. KOF 2002= the best combo,character, even Rugal is maniac .. KOF 2003= better graphic, new gameplay > change player KOF XI= not play yet, hard to find in arcade in my country, waiting for PS2 release.. IORI YAGAMI the most coolest 4eva..  |

I'm one of the people that perfer the old school Kof 97~98. I'm not sure what they were thinking when they decided to change some of the commands for some character. I guess I'm waiting my friend to send me the game once he gets it. Got to love Blue Mary. |

That's great, but have you guys seen the new tournamnet videos for XI on Combovideos.com ? You have to see them! They're FREE on the home page, at least for now! I'm sure they worked hard on their costumes, but they could have picked better poses! However, they do carry their attitudes well.  Fave KOF stage: Korea 96' |

IT IS WITH MUCH LOVE AND GREAT PLEASURE THAT I PRESENT THIS PIC OF A COSPLAY ANGEL (KOF 2001) TO ALL COMRADES IN KOF FANDOM!! And that reminds me, have you guys seen the KoF XI matches I mentioned yet? Fave Non-KoF SNK game: Waku Waku 7! Rage of Dragons and Last Blade not far behind. |

HUHUHU (T_T) KOF XI not release yet in my country.( i mean in PS2 console)..I know there a lot exciting video at combosvideo..but this is just for eyecandy to KOF fanz.. |

Iori is still Top tier, and it seems Kula is back and better than ever. Also you can move characters in and out easier than in 2003, and it becomes more like MvC2 in that way. Good thing. Another pic for you all...  |

I think it have a high price this game maybe above 500-600$ on Neogeo but not a version on PC,PS2 and it have saving strike(when you in danger^-^),Dream cancel(but have to use 2 or power),Super cancel blah blah... and have few new character but i just see trailer not ever played this version yetT-T.Hope will have a best combo soon and anyone have a site about this combo KOF series. I used to play 2002 version and my love char are:Kyo(real 100% not clone),Iori(so fast so dirty),K'(so stylish,so cool but so slowT-T) or(K9999).
Nothing to fear^_^

YEARGHHH...i had bough KOF XI for PS2..finally.. @lucifer yeah...magaki is super damn hard to deal with..his almost difficult like Igniz(KOF 2001) plus the power like orochi..but still, there must be a way to finish him... first rule.. never go far away from him.. range attack won't work..and If you stay there you will stay there 4ever as magaki fire all whatever he got... second, you gonna make him fall..(you can kick down or whatever as long as he fallin).. before he's gonna wake up run toward him (tap forward twice).. when you running toward him while he is trying to stand he will surely (80%) cast the pink flash in front of him (not super but somethin like that) and if this hit you it gonna be pain in the @ss.. before he cast that quickly dodge (while runnin forward push A B button) and if you able to dodge (quickly)its your turn to beat his @ss.... As KOF fighter, combo is useful(almost necessary) in this state because his life and damage are 3 times more from your one fighter but your combo can cause lot of damage to him... even with this..I can't guarantee you will win easily because practice make perfect..yeah..magaki sure is bastard!!!( i just got this game..maybe two week later I can figure more of his weakness) but of all bosses i fight..GILL (SF3 3rd strike) is the most b@st@rd Boss I ever fight..always have to lose and continue... |

What is your team? When I do play it: Iori, K', and the new guy with the cards. Someitmes I use Ash and Kula. Evil Mai impersonators... |

the guy with card...Oh,oswald.. yeah he is cool..(i mean he's super special attack = crazy awesome)... and hell yeah for KOF XI.. new features quick shifting / dodge shifting !!!!!!! KOF series always keep me entertain in term of its game play..with these new move you can change your party while you doing combo (quick shifting) of if you got stuck from your oppenents non-stop combo(dodge shifting= well i named it my self haha)!!!!! oh..and you don't need to waste one power gauge for break cancel (doing special super attack while attacking), because KOF XI had special meter (on top of power gauge) and it regenerate it self!!!... and even there are 'dream cancel'....OH~~ (T_T) tear of joy... @shishio well my favourite character always Iori..other than that I prefer Kim, K', kyo, terry, atthena, kensou,duo,..well lot of them.. i don't have special team..i change according my mood ..but hey..KOF XI just new for me..there a lot new character( actually old character but they came back to KOF..) so nothing to say much.. |
