Threads of Fate (Anyone else play this?)

Anyone ever heard of this game made for the PlayStation? If not: It's about two characters, a mysterious young boy and a bratty princess, who both go on a quest to find a "relic" that would help make their single wish come true. For the boy, Rue, the revival of his friend Clair, and for the girl, Mint, world domination. They both arive on the same ship to the town where the "relic" could be found and end up crossing paths. Anyways, the height of the game was the choise of being two very different characters. If you like FF or stuff sort of like that, look for it.

I played two demo's for the game. I liked it but I couldn't find it anywhere to buy. it was pretty good though.    |

I have that game. It's okay except that saving isn't possible before you fight a boss, if I remember correctly (I haven't played it in years).

@Jonathon: Yeah, it wasn't all that popular I think, plus I didn't have PS1 when it came out so I was stuck playing the demos too, but try ebay. @Jem: I don't remember. All I remember is that I beat it with both characters once and the basic storyline. I really should play it again.

i played this game and beat it a few times^^ it got quite a nice storylines for both Rue and Mint...the only downfall for this game is that Rue can't use defend at anytime.only during the fight in the Book of Cosmos and the final boss,Valen. |

Only played as mint though, got to the last area and got lost and stopped playing :P It's fun though. Tedious at times.

Playing Mint was hard for me, but I admit because it was a bit challenging it made it more fun, but I did prefer playing as Rue though. All in all the game wasn't bad.

I played the game. I never finished it though. I didn't have much time so I stopped playing for a while and completely forgot about it. I was nice, I had a hard time playing Mint.

finished it with Rue...and got bored in the middle with Mint... It was fun to play but I feel like I need something else... ..wonder if Square Enix will plan for a Threads of Fate sequel/prequel/remake thing(guess it's too late for that but better late than never, right?)...?

| I had the game years ago. I didn't like it all that much, so I ended up trading it in when Kingdom Hearts came out. I feel kinda bad about it now |

| wow threads of fate!thats one beautiful game for the ps1!and it has a good story to and some clever puzzles...the only thing i hate bout this game is that you have to fight ALOT to have life and there are no recovery items at your disposal...but it was nice and lighthearted...and playing mint was a pain but it was worth it...the ending can make you feel fuzzy inside!hehehehe |

ahh,threads of fate..really like that game,the only complain was that it was too short hence thats why it wasnt that popular Square enix is evil to not make a sequel out of this game..>_>...so much potential...like Rue's ending..another doll of him...and more of Mint's world domination attempts XD |

...Wonderful. Nostalgic memories already, of beating that crazy game years and years ago. :< I finished the game with both Rue and Mint, but that was my first instinct.

I also had finished both of the characters . Nostalgic , fun and also funny .Always hope that it has a sequel .

lol its been awhile since i played this lol i still love the game altho i can't find it anymore damn i wish i didn't sold mine sigh anyway yea i finished rue's side of the story but mints nah its too hard for me
Do you think its possible to outwit this world from sadness........
