Pet Peeves, here is a real horror story

For those who may not know a pet peeve is basically something people do, mainly an act or quality, that annoys you. Post your pet peeves and any horror stories involving them!

For example, my two peeves are people that chew food/gum out loud and people on "powertrips", ESPECIALLY when said people look down on others!

A horror story involving an annoying person having a powertrip: My friend Zack and I were taking a trip across the US from the Midwest area to Las Vegas for the Evolution Tournament and we took the Greyhound Bus(48 hour trip...ugh, never again, plane this year!). Anyhow, while in Denver I believe, this Greyhound Security Guard got on the bus, keep in mind he is just a security guard, and felt he needed to search all the passengers before letting us travel, EVEN THOUGH we were already late and on the bus and paid up. First he locked us in with some gate thing that was on the bus itself, and we couldn't even go to the bathroom or the station. Anyhow, he began to INTERROGATE people on the bus, everyday people sitting down exausted, including yours truly, as if they were possible TERRORISTS. Worse off he began to lay down stupid rules on us like bag limits even if they had one bag extra! The funniest part: someone questioned his authority to do this and he responded, "I AM LAW ON THIS BUS! I AM HOMELAND SECURITY! I AM THE BUS DRIVER! I AM THE POLICE! (and a whole bunch of other stupid stuff)". Now I know it may seem like he was just takng safety precautions to some in this post 9-11 world, but trust me, he was on his little powertrip. There is no need for that level of interrogation and rudeness in Denver. Later, my freind Zack refered to him as Officer Jackass!

That's very interesting.

About Pet Peeves, my friend annnoys be constantly online, but saying stupid things like dkahdajksdlahd and adklahdkljahtn, those things.

(also, I'm curious. The page is spread out because of your signature. I'm not saying you should change it, but for width, put width="100%" and see if it looks ok)

Hmmm I tried but it looks awful, and I've never had a problem as you are describing, maybe you need to get rid of some bars on the side, like your favorites toolbar that is on the left?I notice if i have that on everthing goes haywire.

Instead of the bars, use center "then whatever you want centered between the center's" then put /center. put <> on both centers with the last one having the bar.

Since it's so long, just put it without any bars, it'll still be nice.

1. Dirty hands. I don't like to shake hands with others I don't know well. How am I to know that they didn't do something unfathomably filthy? The last time I shook someone's hand, I got a sticky mess all over my fingers. :(
2. The people who always have to walk closer to you when you're speaking to them. They also have a strong tendency to stare at you unblinkingly. They get closer and closer, even after you've walked at least 10 feet away from your original standing point. These are the same people who complain about how you need to give eye-contact when you speak to them, which I'm not comfortable with at all. I like to stare a wall and be at least 4 feet away from the person I'm talking to. But they always insist, and I hate it very much.

I hate that to! Not becuase of a lack of comfort, but because start thinking deeply about what people are talking about, and if I look them in the eye I start thinking about their facial qualities instead...more over people usually stink, I don't want to smell their breath and body, that's disgusting, it's like, "get away fool"!

Who says you have to look them in the eye when they are talking? That's so rude of them...

My parents...and a few friends. lol. How ironic. Oh well.
High-pitched female voices are also a pet peeve I guess.
