Okay, is there anyone here who has seen this new super soaker commercial they have out? The Oozinator or something. Anyway, I just wanted to knwo what everyone thinks of it. Personally I want to know who came up with this idea. I mean who thinks this is a good idea, the thing is absolutley disgusting and wrong on so many levels. For anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about go here and watch the commercial you should see what I mean- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdAIt4MgnHc |

I know, seriously. What was the company thinking when they advertised this? I would like to know what they were on when they thought of that. There are at least three things you can come up with right out of the blue that is wrong with that toy. 1) The pumping action. 2) The fact that it shoots clear(or white) goo stuff. 3) The stuff is like sticky. How can they sell this to kids calling it a toy and get away with it?! I'm surprised this even got to stores. This is a toy that their selling to kids who don't know any better to make a profit. I am shocked at the Super Soaker company. Why is it that no-one has any major problems with this being sold? |

...that's not what is going through the kids' minds. They are thinking ooze, or slime, the gross stuff that swamp monsters make. If you plan on explaining what sex is and why this is a bad toy to every kid in america, then go ahead. But they are only kids, they aren't sick minded internet surfers.

I already said "selling it to kids who don't know the differnece or don't know any better. You don't have to have a sick mind to see why this is not a good idea. The fact is it's a disgusting toy, no if's, and's, or but's about it. I know the kids don't think of it that way, but also kids are impressionable. What will they do when they get a little older? They'll think it's alright to do this. Yeah, their kids, but what would you say if these kids were given some type of "sex like toy"? Would it be okay then? Even if those kids are young and don't know what it actually means? The guy who made this has a sick mind or really slipped up during the design. EDIT- It seems Hasbro has already come under fire for this product and it's ad from parents and news media. |

Yes. Oh and also to bring up the "Kids not knowing any better" thing, you also have to remember that kids aren't as niave as they used to be. Most kids over the age of 8 already know about this stuff. @engineer- You can't justify immoral behaviour with ignorance. Some kids might not know what it means but that does not make it right. |

Ok, I think this is a bad idea for a product, but tell me, do you think it would be better if I shot a different color, say green? It'll at least make the connection harder to make. |

What about "Tickle Me, Elmo" toys then? You grab its crotch and it giggles, but it was sold out at every store. And of course Cabbage Patch Kids didn't raise any suspicion as to where babies come from. They are only toys, some kids will play with them while others won't.

You guys don't understand. The thing about this super soaker is that it is unbeatable. Little kids playing with their squirt guns will see the new kid come with his oozinator and run like {heck}. They will be like "Run for your Manlihood! He's got an oozinator!" Kids will surrender before the fight. It the unltimate weapon in super soaker warfare. Though if some kid squirt me with that thing I would totally kick his {behind}. I bet the sales for this gun will be mostly from drunken college students over kids though. {Edited to cut back on swearing.} |

Can we cut down on the swearing? Pretty please? ... Anyway, I thought this commercial was hilarious for all the wrong reasons. Whoever came up with this concept was obviously trying to send a subtle 'sex' message to people out there. But how you interpret it is up to you, and I don't think this product will sell with the (potentially) good amount of criticism it will get. They may change the goo from white to green if complaints arise. *shrug* |
