for me personally its ayashi no ceres between Aya and touya but thats because they go through hell and back and its quite sweet at the end!  |

Yup. ^^ I think Ceres Celestial Legend is a good love story too. Also, you should try out Fushigi Yugi Genbu Kaiden (this is a manga). |

| Midori no Hibi. If you don't really care that much about comedy, you can just watch the anime. If you want more comedy, with the same level of romance... Try the manga. |

umm i dont really watch a lot of romance unless its Shonenai/yaoi...but these were really cute -Gravitation -Papa to kiss in the dark (dont watch if u hate Yaoi/incest) -Fruits basket -Ouran Host Club (i luv Hikaru and Kaoru) theres other but they're just all yaoi...

hmmm, lemme see... Hoshi no Koe (Voice of a Distant Star) - just around 30 minutes but few can surpass its bittersweet story. Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien - the emotions conveyed are pretty powerful Maison Ikkoku - one of the few long series with a very satisfying ending Saikano - those who watched it would agree Da Capo - the first season is sometimes underrated Air - not exactly a romance per se, but it's a love story that spans 1000 years... There are several manga/manhwa with great love stories that I would love to see animated... examples include Air-Ren and Salad Days... here's hoping ;) - T |

I've seen many, but right now - and this may just because I finished this one most recently - the one that sticks out in my mind is Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. Yes, honestly, it is a high school romance genre with a wacky sci-fi twist. The way the anime panned out was great. I really enjoyed the last episode, which really solidified the romance in the story. Other than that, I really enjoyd KareKano; it is still one of my favorite anime. The episode where she is struggling to express her feelings for him is so easy to relate to, and so funny, cute, and sweet at the same time. XD I'll post more if I think of any. .... and Love Hina is not shounen ai XD it is a romance written for an audience of shounen/guys though. :P |

| Saishuu Heiki Kanojo (Saikano). It is absolutely dripping with love story. It's main focus always relies on the relationship between a boy and a girl, and it's amazingly heart-wrenching... ^^; Heh, it's really good. |
