definitely has to be osaka(dumb and blur), and tomo(rough and tomboy-ish). i didnt like chiyo-chan at first because of her voice! so high pitced and too cute! but after a while, i got used to her voice and then i started to like her A LOT! she always wear all the cute costumes (penguin) and i fell in love with her after that...hehe....

Sakaki is my favorite. I always laugh my ass off everytime I see her approaching a cat. You know it's going to bite her, she knows that it's going to bite her, and she does it anyway. Plus with that obsession with all things cute that doesn' seem to match her character...it's awesome.

Osaka is pretty funny character. She could certainly use a couple bottles of Adderol though...Tomo too.

*helps revitalize the thread* This is one of my favorite comedy-school life series, ever. It's actually pretty dear to me for some strange reason. Maybe it's because I adore the events in the anime, and they were just flat out funny and fun. I have the entire season in a nice box set, and I've seen it about three times already. Tomo-chan is probably one of my top favorites. She's cute, spunky, and so energetic. The only bad thing about Azu is that I hated the five minute "very short movie." I thought it was pretty pointless. It could've been added in an episode, like when Osaka sleeps during class. XD They should've made a real movie about the series. Maybe something about how they show all the girls after high school doing their own thing, and later get reunited. I'unno, something like that maybe. The ending was pretty sad since their high school lives were all over. But somehow, they'll all still be together. T-T`

| BwaHAHAHAH~ Yeah, Osaka always have this stoned look! I really love her random lines (Haemorrage Kanji, chasing floaters, Bean Knowledge, water polo). She's class! I really like Chiyo~ she is unlike the typical short, whiny girl we always see in most animes/mangas--- Chiyo is adorable X3 and she's intelligent, humble and kind and sometimes can be symphathetic which can fool her real bad though. And her friends are very wonderful~ from the loudest to the coolest. The teachers are wacky too except Kurosawa-sensei, I suppose ^^" I hate that male teacher, what a real pervert (He made Sakaki cried! DX) |

I think Azu is hilarious! It's so wonderfully random! My fave character is Chiyo because she is so adorable, and Sakaki because she's obsessed with cute things like me! I feel so bad for her, because she wants to be little and cute, but she can't be. I think Osaka is the funniest because she's so out of it! I actually haven't finished watching the series, yet, but I have all of the DVDs.  |

Kaorin is definitely one of my favorites. She's so in love with Sakaki, it's really cute to watch though. Too bad she's not really one of the main group members. Kimura-sensei is really strange indeed, but his wife is such an angel! ...and a bit clueless. =^_^= I remember the honesty scene in school one time, with Kimura-sensei. One of his students asked him "why did you become a teacher?" He simply responded with something like "to look at high school girls." ...the boys cried to his honesty, lol. XD
