i think this artist is awesome! he has soo many talents(drums, piano, etc.). however, i think his lifestyle is soo odd! he doesnt use ordinary lights? ahahha...and always on tv programs he is so sombre. but ppl dont exclude him or anything. how nice! and i jsut noticed that he cannot stand straight! he is always either leaning on one leg or sth. anyways, ill like to learn more about this singer cos he is cool! and i want reliable sources cos while i was browsing, most of the information given to me by fansites varies! so i want reliable sources! thanks

Gackt is my favourite artist of all time!!! ★ ♪ v(^O^)v ♪ ★ He is very talented, and also hot... so hot...!!! (★_★)汗 Actually, the TV appearances that I've seen of him.. were not always so sombre. He starts off that way, but by the end of the interviews, the TV hosts sometimes have him laughing out of his chair! (^∪^)笑 Downtown is good at making him laugh. ★ Anyway, about his personal life.. I don't think I can give you any reliable sources of information, because I'm not so concerned about that topic anymore.. Partly because there are so many websites that give contradictory information.. and so, I gave up on finding the truth! thanks.yeah! i was jsut browsing and i came across so many different information. but in the end i came to the conclusion that he is a really hard person to understand and i should just settle for the information that i have come across. downtown? ok...i have to go find it!

Gackt was the vocal for Malice Mizer for a couple of years. Though I liked Tetsu and Khala as vocal better, he still did a good job. Yes I am listening to one of his songs right now. What is he doing now? Pop? Rock? Still gothic at all?  Jomunga eats your avatars. |

@ jOMunGa-san: Well... Gackt's musical style has evolved over the years, I think. After Malice Mizer disbanded, his style remained a bit gothic/rock.. in my opinion. In the following years, his style slowly changed to pop/rock.. a more mainstream sound. Recently, he seems to prefer a kind of contemporary style.. such as using only the piano, accoustic guitars, or violins in all of his songs. Gackt's new songs are much mellower than his earlier solo works. But I haven't heard any of the songs from his latest album, "Diabolos." If anyone has listened to it, can you tell us what it's like??? ♪ @ kuroineko-chan: Did you find DownTown yet? They're a famous comedic duo that appear on shows, like "Hey! Hey! Hey!" They're so interesting to watch!!! *(^O^)* And I love people from Kansai and Kansai dialect!!!!! ★ ★ ★ |

hahaha Gackt is soo funny and of course he's a hot singer... yaaah his house is dark...hehe if your watching Utaban, Gackt cooks naked reading a bookie in front of the pot *drools* but unfortunately it takes him 4 days to actually finish cooking curry. He doesn't really get naked anymore because his elder sister who's divorce lives with him. ~~~~ "Magnum!!!" everytime in Utaban they talked about the magnum is soo funny. I hope you know what the MAGNUM is. ^_^ Oh and Gackt showers like the matrix style that's what he said bwahahaha! Ne ne did you know he curse too in english *_* I was laughing when he said it. You just gotta love his every side....hehe  |

yeah...i got most of his info on utaban. i know! the curry and the interviewers were like mocking him! so sad! i wanted to punch them. gackt was saying like...the ppl who wants to eat his curry had to fight him to eat it.ahahaha...i want to try! free sample please! ahahha...yeah i know wad the MAGNUM is SHINJITA.i was watching utaban and they toked about it. ahhaha...so funny. his fans were calling him MAGNUM w/o knowing wad it was. ahahhahaa...he is kinda funny, but he rarely smiles!

You can read his autobiography on a site called Cool Like Plastic. http://fiyaa.com/gackt/ From what I could make, Gackt is a smoker (sick sick sick), is (or was) addicted to sex, exercises all of the time, and showers while leaning backward. He doesn't believe in modern light stuff and lights his house with candles. Also, he thinks he is a 500 year-old vampire, but recently reveiled he was born in the 70's. Also, he is f*cking sexy and I lobe him! Also, he is in the Rurouni Kenshin (or whatever its called) live-action show and has songs in DoC and made an appearance in DoC (Dirge of Cerberus: FFVII). He is in the secret ending.  |

@ Eureka: ....o_o....^o^ Cool! Gackt is insane (Maybe to a degree...^^;; ). Insane people make awsome music. Love the sex addiction XD (If only he was gay...*sigh*), but smoking is a no-no. =( And if he was born in the 70's...he's what, 30-ish? X3 Hottest 30-ish guy I'VE seen...

I've only heard one of his songs, Longing from DoC: FFVII. I think it's a really good song, but I haven't heard any other of his.^^;    |

Jon:: Wasn't 'Redemption' a song used in a FF series? XD Anyways, Gackt is seriously one of the coolest people I've ever seen. Not even my opinion, but out of all the stuff on YouTube, other sites, etc. that I've seen. I only have a few of his songs, and findin' more is still [pending] but so far, his songs are nice. He can't dance though. That's what I heard on YouTube (comments), lol.

@Jon and Dangel: Gackt has an insert song midway through Final Fantasy VII, Dirge of Cerberus. It is called Longing. The other one, Redemption, is used as the end-credits/theme for Dirge of Cerberus. And yeah.... He can't dance that well. *SWT* |
