| Well, I'm not really sure whether I was supposed to put this here, or somewhere else, but it is about Anime Music. When I first came to Gendou, all the songs were rated so highly. But recently I've noticed that almost all the songs are rated below 9. Why is it like this? Is there someone going around and rating all the songs really low just for fun? So heres my question - how do you usually rate your songs, and what is the lowest youve ever rated a song? Highest? I rate it by the singer's voice and whether or not the song is interesting. I usually rate fast beat songs higher because I seem to like those better. The lowest Ive ever rated a song is a 0, but I dont remember which song it was. it was just absolutely horrible and the singing sounded like a little girl. The highest Ive rated a song is 10! Ive rated alot of songs as 10s but I guess the one that I would give a 10 forever is Garden of Everything from RahXephon. |

The rating displayed on the download page is a mathematical mean average of all user's ratings for that song. I cannot speak for my users, but it is true that this month has been the "bottom of the barrel" for new releases. Next month there are some good releases planned, so we should expect to see higher ratings on newly-added songs. You can view a user's top 10 ratings by clicking on the link labeled "song ratings" on a the user's profile. It's very likely that he has more songs already on his computer that he didn't have to download in the first place. Thus he could give them a rating without first having to download. I get most of my stuff through Nipponsei's releases (and Minglong's tracker), as well as BoxTorrents. But Gendou's site helps fill in the gaps, for me at least.  |
