hmmmm.....that list is actually quiet accurate , but i only watch naruto , fullmetal alchemist , and Bleach , but i've heard many people talk about that ippo thing (2.) i think it's about boxing or something like that ...    oh helleo! hahaha, i'm Urahara , DON'T FORGET IT....hahaha |

I'm actually surprised a bit from the first chart of 50 top animes. There are a ton of sites, that have Top 50, Top 100, even Top 200 even. The one I sometimes check out (they have links with "Top 10 Anime" on 'em). What is strange is that Sprited Away is not even in the 20's, yet Sprited Away is one of the best Japanese Films ever!! It was also the first animation film to win an Oscar and will be a classic in Japan's Anime History. But since this is, Popularity, I'm still a bit shocked since GITS is so low. Even Naruto is pretty low. I was shocked, even I know how great Kenshin is, it was really high as well in popularity. Fate/Stay Night, Fullmetal Alchemist, InuYasha, and Naruto are some of the Top 10 in "Top 10 Anime" (like Top 10 greatest (currently)). In Popurlarity, the top 5 would be all but Naruto. I may be wrong, since all sites have different sources to where they get the info, and all the sites are different as well. Some are the real charts (straight from Japan maybe!?), some could be in US opinions, and some might be from the site's forum votes, or something similar... These aren't my opinions, so don't judge so quickly. I would add the Dragonball Z, GT, etc since that anime is very popular as well and what about Howls Moving Castle? That was a great film, yet I haven't checked it out yet. Also nominated for an Oscar, but those outcomes are screwed (>.<). These's just too many anime to think all at once...XD Here are just some anime that would be in My TOP 50 (just a few):
I have yet to see a lot of nice anime like AIR, School Rumble, Yakitate! Japan (reading Manga), and so on, but these are just a few, so ALOT is left out.

That's wrong...Samurai X Reminiscense should be number 1 for every list...not Suzumiya.. Even both Animenewsnetwork and Animenfo says Reminiscense is number 1... Are we really supposed to name our own top 50? |
