| But seriously, does anybody think they can help me? I'm into Orange Range, the Pillows, THE STRiPES, Utada Hikaru, TMR, Asian Kung-fu Generation, Puffy Ami Yumi and the likes of that kind of music. Anybody? I also want to know if Pierrot are any good. I've heard nothing about them, but they look hot ^^ |

Pierrot is ok. if you want an example, go find GetBackers in the anime music and download it(perhaps you know). go try Move, Nami Tamaki. Some songs i listen to is Rie Fu, Bon Bon Blanco, Hamasaki Ayumi, and naja (though i dont suggest that you listen to mines since yours is rock style and mines is more of a calming style)

| I agree with Chubster. Anything by UVERworld is good. You should also try out MOVE. They are a really good band... They remind me of Hip-hop/techno/&rock all in one kinda. I reccomend Noizy Tribe or Gamble Rumble for a first listen. ^___^; |

Most people that like The Pillows like Mr. Children and Sambomaster as well, since they're all very straight-forward rock bands. I'm not a big fan of hip-hop+rock, but I like MOVE's Noizy Tribe =p Maybe cos' I love Initial D? Oh yeah, since we're pretty much indicating everyone who played an OP/ED from Bleach, try Yui too... I love her voice. And Home Made Kazoku's "Thank You". ..well, listen to whatever you find from Bleach here, most of them are good songs =p

Mr. Children and UVERworld are good bands... But, I'd also recommend bands like Alice Nine, Chemistry, L'Arc En Ciel, LAST ALLIANCE, MELL, Plastic Tree, and ZZ. The former three listed are maybe "harder" rock bands... But, the latter four are reasonable, "milder" rock bands which I enjoy and recommend. If you dislike even one song of any of the bands, keep on trying... You're band to fall for at least one of these if you haven't heard anything from any of these bands as of yet. Good luck on your search. |
