unable to upload.

I'm unable to upload. Selecting the file. It's 8 mb and 320kbps. But when uploading it says "the file you uploaded was zero bytes long." What seems to be the problem...? |

Are you sure you're uploading the file? How fast is your connection? And are you letting it upload all the way through? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Yes, I sure I'm uploading a file. From D:/Anime/backups/överigt/music/Innocent Venus OST/Noble Roar.mp3 to be exact. (I'm from sweden so I writen "misc" in swedish "överigt". If the uploading process can't handle ÅÄÖ then that would be the problem. But I dont se why it wouldn't be able to.) My connections is 8mbps download and 4 mbps upload. It takes about half a second then it shows me that messege. "the file you uploaded was zero bytes long." |

your web browser is not uploading any data to my server. it seems likely the cause is the non-ascii characters in the directory name. uploading an 8 MB file on a 4 mbps line should take 16 seconds at least. (8 MB * 1024 KB/MB) / ((4 mbp/s * 1024 KB/MB) / 8bits/byte) = 16 seconds ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Ok, well then I know. I have to fix that directory until next time. I'll try and upload after doing that. Thanks for the help. [EDIT] I was able to upload after changing directory. One with a ascii-leters only. I also noticed there is something every wrong about my upload... anyway, problem solved. |
