Halo 3 is looking great, this being based off the trailer that was shown at E3 and the 360 breakdown that shortly followed. The realtime reflections in the chiefs visor are simply stunning and the amount of detail done to the damage on his armor is spectacular. The graphics are important to the game however the most important is the story and enemy/ally A.I. According to recent posts on bunjie the A.I has been significantly upgraded (the marines are better drivers) and the grunts wont just rush you all the time. Instead they execute strategic formations in order to flank you, however their amount of agressivness will remain the same. In short halo 3 will rock and significantly boost the sales of the 360 much to the delight of microsoft. About the Movie, I know very little. A director has be named Niel Blomkept I believe and Universal will back it. I was lucky enough to speak with some of the artists at Wetta (peter jacksons group) and they told me to expect visual things around spring time and more fleshed out thing in the winter. I also aked them about the eva movie but they just laughed and told me to wait...its coming. If you would like to know more visit bunjie.com or aint it cool news for movie related stuff. I heard a rumor on superherohype.com that Denzel Washington is in the running for Master Chief. And the game looks very cool too. |

Halo movie in Flux Universal studios just backed out on the movie (Fox has yet to be confirmed)... looks like problems with the budget is taking its toll on the movie  Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

The productionprocess has not halted. Wetta will continue to produce new material for the movie rgardless if it recieves studio backing (which it will soon). Don't count a halo movie out just yet. Japanese girls love Darth Vader...... |

Dude, I heard the Denzel Washington thing on G4. Thats absolutely rediculous. Im not trying to be racist but the 1st book clearely describes Master Chief as having brown hair, green eyes, and hes white. Now secondly and probably more importantly, Denzel sounds nothing like master chief. MC has a low monotonish rough voice. Denzel has that black newyorker accent. If you dont believe me go watch Remember the Titans or something and then watch a few cutscenes in halo. Better yet you could just win a couple medals in multiplayer, that anouncer is the same voice. Why is the voice so important? MC never takes his armor off. Maaaaaby his helmet. The low guttural voice is part of his charactor. THE number one perfect candidate for MC is Kurt Russel in my opinion. Just watch Soldier and you will be convinced. That movie is like... mc killin everyone without his armor... its the perfect resemblence. and yes the voice is perfect too. All they would need to keep up with the book is green contact lenses if they wanted to get realy detailed. The last I heard about whose running the movie was that the director for Lord of the Rings and the producer of those Sion comercials were doing it. Can you think of how insane that is? All the epic beauty and massive battles and stuf with the special effects as good asthe sion comercials... Seriously go watch a sion comercial... car like grows its tires on and different parts of it are shifting colors in gradiants while the hood and the trunk doors are trading spots and the dashboard is shifting around while the stick changes shapes. crazyness. Hopefully though... there wont be a 2 hour ending like in return of the king. -_-  |
