Why is Final Fantasy so great?

Ill probably be killed by a chocobo for this but why is final fantasy so great. I've played FF X-2 and wondered how can you play this for more than 10 minutes without getting bored? I know thw story is good but the gameplay is so slow like a continual game of chess, boring! The only enjoyable final fantasy game was kingdom hearts if you can call it a final fantasy game. Well I do agree that the game play is boring even thought I am a final fantasy fan, but to me it's just different people and taste of how they want to play thier rpg. There's the stategies, ones where you actually run around and fight like Prince of Persia, and there is also some where there is alittle of both like Tales of Phantasia. Personaly, I like final fantasy cause it's relaxing. XD I can eat while playing it. That's why i gained 3 pounds. XDDD. But yeah. I also think it's "thrilling" to fight and gain levels slowly. Yeah I'm a freakin fanatic when it comes to RPGs. Hehe. Sorry for rambeling. ^^;; |

i tried playing ff-x but it ended pretty shortly.. :| and the reason for the stopping was: i was shocked by the voice actors they sucked and hard! : its just that my ears cant take everything cursing,mocking and stuff my ears can take but crappy voice actors? never : and yea different ppl like different things other ff games from 1-9 and kh1(havent played kh2) has been good and ff7 is the best so far |

I think the final fantasy series is a great game...until i heard the voice actors for FFX. Omigod. I hate them, athough some did a pretty good job if i must say. What i love about final fantasy would be the storyline, the character designs and the gorgeous FMV's. Overall, different people have different tastes on RPG's and other games. I don't have a PS2 so I've never played the newest ones even the Kingdom Hearts series, but i've seen my friend played them and I really, REALLY wish I have one :(  |

Well.. I think the FF games are awesome.. I didnt like the voice actors of FF10 though.. but its still cool.. I think.. FF7 would have to be one of my favorites!! RENO!!! woohoo!!! btw, kitty.. you should try getting a ps2.. and start playing KH! :) You should really try it!  |

Well you only play FF X-2 didn't you which I recall like Barbie comes to FF. Try FF VII or FF VIII it's still original then you'll know why FF is so great. As a symbol I can be incorruptible. |

I think that Final Fantasy in general is so great because everything about it is just so imaginative and innovative. It's just a well done series of games (Square kicks so much ass).
You need a reason to be sad. You don't need a reason to be happy. The secret to happiness is to face the fact that the world is horrible.
