Gundam Seed Stargazer

hey does anyone from here ever heard about the new OVA from sunrise. Stargazer, I wonder if it's really only 3 eps 'coz i still want some more. seed and destiny are simply the best of its kind ne :-)

I've seen the two episodes that have been released so far. The animation is well done, although there are parts that are somewhat more gruesome than GS/GSD. Also, I agree. GS/GSD are two of my favorite's.    |

| Yes Stargazer is a side story OVA that is only 3 eps long. However since GSD failed ratings compared to SEED, they are doing a movie finale to that series... |

yes after seeing the second episode last night i think i have to agree with you. but knowing that it is only 3 episodes long i think it's a little bit short. am i right?

I don't want to spoil anyone, but I have seen the premier of it. It is a bit gruesome, but anything can happen if it's anime from Japan.  |

Haven't watched it yet, but I'm considering it. Violent, you say? And only three eps too. Honestly, they should make it into a series then...I guess this can't be considered as the final series in the Seed trilogy then.  |

Ya,right,just 3 episodes... T_T I want more action,man... Agree and agree again.Yeah,gundam seed and seed destiny are my favorite too~

Stargazer is better than SEED or SEED Destiny. No doubt. In Stargazer, we can saw, a Gundam like Blu Duel can fall by a Kerberos BuCue. But, in SEED or SEED Destiny, we only saw, Gundam is a mecha that only can be defeated by a Gundam too. It's bad. That's why i'd prefer Stargazer. I wonder, why Sunrise only gave the producer 45 minutes ? Not 90 minutes ? Stargazer can better than SEED and SEED Destiny if the limit time is little longer. By the way, Stargazer Gundam and Strike Noir Gundam is cool !! P.S. : Sorry if my language is bad. I'm still learning to use English well. |

Being a gundam fan since 0080, I really didn't like at all the appearance of Seed, I didn't like the concept of it at all and how it blatantly ripped off all of the series before it and destroying Gundam's concept of realistic giant robots and the politics behind it all. Seed Destiny ESPECIALLY angered me on that issue....though that has not stopped me from buying it anyway so my Gundam DVD collection would be complete..... But Stargazer surprised me.....though I've only seen through episode 2 since I can't find any torrents or anyplace to get any further, I must say it is significantly better than it's Cosmic Era predecessors. The way the go more in depth with the battles (like how the one guy piloted the tank, setting the firing mode to .5 second intervals) and how it isn't just the stereotypical "main character shows up-> kill stuff" formula is a nice change for the better. It seems like the original creators showed up and told them to stop killing their classic franchise.
