Check out this Script I wrote for an animated version of Way of the Master Featuring the Famous and handsome Kirk Cameron. I bet he's cuter when he's drawn. It's not out yet. It's still in its womb.

Kirk Cameron: Do you consider yourself a good person?

Yeah, I got shot trying to save a kid from an angry gangster…

Kirk Cameron: Do you consider yourself good enough for heaven?

Yes, I volunteer for a lot of stuff…. Including blood donation, fire rescue…. I denoted millions of dollar to charity… including to Pastor Parsley.

Kirk Cameron: Do you keep the commandments?

Well, I never murdered anyone.

Kirk Cameron: Have you ever stolen anything?

Like what?

Kirk Cameron: Anything. The value doesn’t matter. Have you ever stolen your boss’s time?

I stole a car, once. I stole a piece of gum from my sister.

Kirk Cameron: Have you ever told a lie? Exaggerations count as lie. White lies count, too.

I lied to my teacher about my work. I told a friend to do it for me while I was out making out with my girl friend. I ended up with two weeks of OSS when she recognized the handwriting.

Kirk Cameron: Now, if God were to judge you by these standards (The Ten Commandments) would you consider yourself innocent or guilty?

Well, I’d say…. I did save a kid…

Kirk Cameron: You’ve been to court, right? Tell me, if you saw a judge overlook a rapist’s crime just because he saved a kid, would you say he’s a good judge? No, you’d call him corrupt. The fact that he saved a kid’s life cannot erase the bruises he left on his victims.

Therefore, I’d be judged guilty, right?

Kirk Cameron: Right, but you know what Christ did so you won’t have to suffer according to the law? He suffered beatings and a slow, painful death in your place. He paid your fine.

Imagine you are sitting in a courtroom on front of a judge. You are being charged for multiple crimes. All the evidence has been presented to you and there’s no doubt about your guilt. Your apologies and good deeds cannot erase the crime; therefore you must be punished. The fine of your crime is $250,000 or imprisonment, but you don’t have two pennies to rub. Suddenly, someone you don’t know appears with $250,000 and pays the fine for you. Gives you that money so you won’t have to suffer. The court accepts that payment and declares you free. Well, that’s what Jesus Christ did for all of us. He suffered what we were supposed to suffer in our place.

Radical Evangelism says it is better to have not followed rules and methods... even laws and restraining orders... than to let a soul perish
