The Exclamation (!!!) abuse thread

I can understand using one. Or two. And since I'm being nice, three is cool. But why do some sentences have "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" marks? is it because - a) Their finger are stuck to the keys b) They are showing off their internet speak c) It's fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! d) ...What, what else are they supposed to say? Well, hammer away. You can insult me if you want. But it would nice if I wasn't the only one who found these things annoying. NOTE - This is not a personal attack on anyone. This is simply my OPINION. So, please do NOT be offended/rant/rave on this post. Please. You're only making yourself look bad |

This is the first time I've heard of someone who actually thinks it's annoying to see a lot of exclamation marks. So far I've heard complaints about internet slang, but its a first for me on this issue. And I have to say that I'm one of them! HAHAHA!!!  |

uhmmm.. maybe because they cannot express their feelings or emotions on just one to three exclamation point?O__O That means they are too overwhelmed on something...

lol, it will be kinda annoying if you're sad or being serious about something, then people respond with those hyper sentences. e.g: A: i was dumped by my boyfried B: oh, really??!!! OMG!!! really?!! OMG!!! A: yeah... B: how did it happen?!! i cant believe this!!! OMG!!!! A: it happened...like this and like that... B: but! thats just so terrible!!! how could he do that to you!!! or something like that XD its like that person is making too a big deal over something. or maybe its just me XD  |

i use 4 instead of 3 b/c i like the number 4 (i don't know why ^^) otherwise, yes, an entire line of !!!!!!!!!.... would be pretty annoying after a while......(then again i probably use waaaaaay too many "......" :) ) although, i really did have the keyboard stick once, when i was typing a report, and i had !!!!!! <-these and lllll <-these all over the place ^_^ |
