Has anyone else seen this game for the playstation 2. The game is truly beautiful to look at as it looks like a living japanese watercolor painting. You play as a sun god in the form of a wolf who must defeat demons on earth to get back to heaven. You have a paint bruch which you can use to cut this in half, creat bridges, make a cage, and a buch of other things. The game is very pleasing to the eyes I'll post a pick for everyone:

I've seen it featuring on X-Play and I thought it looked like an interesting game and the gameply looks like something fresh and new. And I agree it IS a beautiful game from the looks of it.

Unfortunately I have no PS2 or whatever game console this game should be played on so I've never played it nor will I ever get the chance to play it :(

I played the demo of Okami and it is absolutely amazing. It's visual poetry, artistic elegance, and engaging gameplay rolled into one gorgeous package. I cannot wait for this masterpiece to hit shelves later this month.

*some time later...*

I'm actualy playing it right now, just got to a point where I was becoming concearned that the game was coming to an end way too quickly...

Then it was all like 'and they lived hapily ever after... Except, you know, there's still some stuff we havn't explained, and there was that big scary thing that flew out of the monster's body, and not to mention that Waka guy. Yup... actualy, I guess the game's not realy over, we hope you enjoyed the tutorial."

And then the game continued on! :D

i'm so glad to hear that it is on playstation 2. I saw a trailer of the game and thought to myself "graphics that good have to be on xbox 360 or ps3." Now all I need is the money to buy it...

I saw it on G4 when they had E3 and on X-Play when they previewed the japanese version....the first time I saw it, I just had to stare in awe....I would play it if I had a PS2...
