I think it's not physic thingy, it's more like biological thingy.
The nature in balance, sounds like the food chain to me, if you don't know what's food chain just google it or search it in wikipedia.

As a symbol I can be incorruptible.

Nature in balance... it balances population through disasters, yet heals the living things over time... but that's biology.

Nature will always balance things out one way or another, wether it be with a mass extinction or a sudden increase in temperature. If we're not careful the balance could cause us some undesired calamity.

One example is like how animals evolve. Prey will evolve in ways to make it able to defend itself from predators and the predators will evolve to catch their prey. It balances out to were it can sustain both sides.

Nature is in balance. More like a biological thing to me.
Nature is in balance because everything in it has a purpose; from the smallest creatures to the biggest ones... Even the plants do have a major role.

Take for example Yellowstone National Park. It has lesser trees than before. Why? Because wolves were hunted down. What's the connection? Wolves, as the top of the food chain, disappeared. It turns out that the prey that wolves hunt provide nutrients for the soil, to be consumed by the trees.

Get it?

You see, nature is in balance but when Man steps in, it won't, like what happened to Yellowstone.
