Good cant exist without evil for they are a part of a cycle called life and because both are actual opposites of each other... you cant actually say which is stronger  Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

in power, it doesnt matter who's good and who's evil. what matters is people with more power. i guess evil dudes are more powerful, they can do anything without worrying about the consequences of their actions and sometimes good people think too much about somebody else. but, like psoplayer said, good always wins in the end. so, somehow, goodness can overcome evilness no matter what  |

| Just supposing: If the two cannot exist without the other, they are balancing each other correct? If that is the case, can't this be like the balance of two object with different masses? The one with heavier mass is just closer to the center. |

Young Kai is calling on an intrinsic quality of nature to help describe something in the human condition. Clearly, there is no scientific explanation for good, evil, or what have you. There is, however, an applicable conservation law which Young Kai notices right away, and applies it in a philosophical setting.

I suppose good and evil really are just ways that you interpret reality. It may be by what causes you pain, what you are attached to, etc. It really is relative to the circumstance regarding your life. I mean after all how can you know what good/evil is if you don't know what the other is?
You need a reason to be sad. You don't need a reason to be happy. The secret to happiness is to face the fact that the world is horrible.

well, the balances of good and evil are all dependant on perceptions, if a person percieves everyone around him/her to be evil, then they see the balance as favoring evil, whereas everyone could see that person as evil, the balance for these two intangibles is not set, and probably never will be without some major degree of mind control (ie. lists of what's right and wrong)
