I was hoping someone could tell me what rule I had violeted when I had uploaded the song "Northern Lights (Ballad Version.mp3)"? I'm just curious to as what rule I had violated. Thanks!  |

i think it's because it HAS been uploaded and added to the listings. that's what I think. let's wait for what gendou has to say. ^^ -michiyo-

Hm, possibly. Say, if it is true that the song has been uploaded and added to the listings, wouldn't the request have been removed right away? And what about songs that are on the request list, you upload them, and have no points but in the profile it says "X songs uploaded"? Are they removed from the system? could they be removed from your profile list so you know that they were not used? Or maybe make a simple symbol/image saying "Thanks for the effort on finding the song but we're not using it" kind of thing? Eh, that would make sense. And then how about setting up a PM system specficially for uploading so you know why you've violated a rule or why the song wasn't used. It might take a bit more time and effort but it would save a lot of confusion. I'm so confused... XD |

EDIT: The request was for the KARAOKE version of the BALLAD remix (which does not even exist, so i gave them a -1 level for request violation). All your questions are answered in the FAQ!!! It is not my fault that you failed to read the request and the FAQ carefully. I don't see how a PM system will not force you to pay attention to detail. There is no way in hell I am going to type a custom response to every single upload that I receive (close to 100 a day). Please also notice the rule "Please do NOT dispute upload points in the forum; I never make mistakes. Instead, double-check the request rules for a possible issue." which can be found here. Please also count your lucky stars you were not banned for this.
