When was it shown in japan, twenty years ago? o___O So this is the big news from Finland, about anime this week. Its actually the only news about anime, it was even on the newspapers.. cultural achievement :´D You all live (offcourse) in somekind of anime heaven, where you can get anime anywhere? *curious and envious if its true, grrrh* Bwah, i NEED to know! ^___^ ~more of curiousity in coming!!~ |

Nope, not really, unless you include pokemon *shiver*, and the occasional gundam/sailor moon/dbz dvd at gamestop. We used to have a Suncoast in the local mall but...*shrugs* |

Honestly, there are quite a few places I could go. They have a decent little selection of used anime dvds at good prices at the local GameStop. There's a huge used bookstore nearby, McKay's. They also deal used music, video games and movies. They have buttloads of used anime at good prices. The local Best Buy has some pretty decent selections from time to time, but can be over priced a little on some things. Until it closed recently, the Sam Goody had quite a bit too, but they were madly overpriced on most things. Especially the boxed sets. They were the only place I've seen anime soundtracks for sale though. (Got RahXephon OST 1 before it closed, yay ^^) I got about half of my anime through animecornerstore.com or justmanga.com though. |

They have a helluva selection of anime up here in Canada (HMV has the biggest selection) but it is all at disgutingly high prices. Its about $26 (CAD) for a dvd with 3 or 4 episodes from a series. Any feature length movies are $40. If you are lucky, you can find a series box set for about $200... Music World has much better prices, but the selection is VERY limited. I rarely see previously viewed anime's for sale...

@zparticus I recommend!! @engineer o____O thats called robbing! So the world is truly cruel place T_T even though there is so many anime fans, theres no supply. Only few lucky (or wealthy, in other words rich ¨_¨) people got theyre anime with no trouble. Lets raise the level of piratism then as an objection agains the evil merchant men! (hopes you get the point trough that bad english) |

Well here in Belgium there is a decent supply of anime, but that is because we have France next door, which is the second biggest anime distributor in the world, after Japan. But the prices are pretty expensive T.T @NekoMimi: which Miyazaki movie is it they are going to show? Nausicaa? I love Miyazaki's work, have seen most of them. My favorites are Sen to Chihiro (Spirited Away), Laputa Castle in the Sky and Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro.
