All my friends like it. THe only problem is, when i am in school and have a manga im reading ever one is like "oh whats that? what's it about" and I just...How do i tell them lol

My friends love yaoi, me not so much. I have some Yami no Matsuei doujinshi that's yaoi, but that's all. My friends would always dump it on me. I read Fake at school, and when someone asked me about it, I gently explained it to them.

i've got friends who likes yaoi just as much as i do. so, we bond because of those kinds of things. it IS kinda hard to tell them that it's yaoi, i mean, other people, but then, face it. it's entertaining, and for all you know, THEY look at worse things than you do. ^^ -michiyo- p.s. kyari and bloodymoon, do KILL mr. scrolly. thankies! ><

Yea. It would be funny to see ther reactions. But you see over half my school is made of Homophobes are they would either A) run away screaming and never come back B) Shot me on the spot or possibly C) Avoid me even more then they already do and get there stupid preepy friends to hate me even more. which i really wouldnt mind. cause i hate them anyway. ohhh i just got the only the ring finger knows novels. I like it so far! I need the manga! ^_~ yay4 my yaoi Family! *huggles*

Aw, poor you. I pity your situation and fully understand it as well. I also attend a very preppy school where no one would at all reason with how I could even bare look at yaoi... But, actually, I've fortunately found a couple considerate friends and classmates who also enjoy slash and yaoi after some time of "searching." So, maybe you will get lucky to find some people who share your interests in this genre of "art" even at your school; you might even be surprised by the few who may do (I sure was). But yes, in general, it was difficult to admit to several my interest in yaoi. Most of my friends accept it, otherwise, some don't even know. So, maybe if you really want to "hide" this interest of yours, you really can. Just say that you're reading a "random romance story..." Or some better excuse if you find that pretty "lame..." It works for me, at least... Otherwise, just find seclusive/times alone to read your yaoi. But, then again... You might as well admit your interest to others, if you feel comfortable enough... If people reject you, that goes to show how shallow those people are. If they are not willing to accept your interests, they don't deserve to be your "friends." And again, you could be lucky to find people who will not reject or avoid you because they may be understanding. You may never know until you find out, you know. I wish you luck solving this difficulty. |

all my friends disapprove on liking yaoi... they always said.."why would you see guy and some other guys making love to each other?..that;s sick girl" don't get me wrong i was one of them..i used to "dislike" yaoi..but after two years ago,i began to come across an anime called gravitation..that's when the first time i fell in love with yaoi..lol thank god that my bestfriend like yaoi too...(my influence...lol) gonna influence lots n lots of people hehehe  ***anatawa bokuwa koibito.....zutto*** *-*i cut myself to know that im alive*-* |

| Well i guess it's normal for others to look at us weirdly... im okay with slight yaoi but not those hardcore type coz it kinda creeps me out however i do tell others if im watching or reading yaoi |

The usual responses are "XD", "oh god", "whoa... hot stuff" both girls and guys -_-;;; As for me, i don't feel disturbed by it, and find it interesting in some areas (e.g. gravitation), but i lean more towards yuri (oh yes~ ^__^) |

My friends like yaoi. One of my friend goes like "SasuNaru!" "SanzoGoku!" while I'm cringing at the thought of it... Another goes like how these guys are so cute together and blah blah blah... I'm not a yaoi fan. It was difficult for me to read Gravitation but since my senior lent it to me... Btw, I'm a het writer. I have het pairings in Prince of Tennis, Gundam Seed and Naruto under my name. :) That sorta shows my intolerance to yaoi. 届ã‹ãªãã¦ã‚‚ 追ã„ã‹ã‘㦠|

My friends... despise yaoi or anything related to yaoi (in other words homosexuality). T_T So I've a hard time trying to hide my fanfiction/stories from them when they keep asking me what story I'm working on (even though I only tend to write mild yaoi). |

Only ONE real life friend of mine accept it as much as I do. The rest are fellow online friends ^_^ People around me aren't close minded but watching two...animated bishounen doing intimate stuff...is not very...usual XD hehe...
