| I want to ask when i watched this anime, i saw the characters like sakura, syaoran... Is Ccs And Tsubasa Chronical is linked? Or is just another movie?? |

TRC and CCS are one different thing. CLAMP just add almost all of their manga characters to TRC to be made as a story..

Yeah. If you read the manga for Tsubasa Chronicles, it says at the end of each volume what other characters from CLAMP's other manga have appeared in Tsubasa. There are loads of appearances from lots of their manga. Also, even though it doesn't do this in the anime, the manga for Tsubasa crosses over with xxxHolic manga.

| yeah...Tsubasa Chronicle and Card Captor Sakura is not linked...Tsubasa Chronicle just uses characters from the Clamp manga and anime...such as X, Chobits, xxxHOLIC...and like what Voxynqueen says...if you read the manga to Tsubasa Chronicle you can see the references for the characters and where they appear in the other Clamp manga... |

um... tsubasa's actually kinda like a fulfilment of CLAMP's desire to do some um... 'fan'-based works like your usual fanfiction or fanart that kind of stuff and crossovers... ==||| personally, i don't really like it...

Most of the characters in Tsubasa are "Twinners" (a term I borrowed from "The Talisman" by Stephen King & Peter Straub, as well as the Dark Tower, both of which center around traveling to parallel universe), fundamentally the same people living different lives in alternate realities. Think of the whole series as "CLAMP Remix" and it will all make sense. Though certain things always stay the same, no matter what reality, for example: 1- Tomoyo is always a "princess" of some kind, be it royalty or the heiress to some fortune, and she always falls for Sakura when she meets her 2- Toya and Yukito are always an item, in any reality 3- Whether by science or sorcery, Chii is always someone else's creation, , a construct of some type, and nearly always begins her adventure with amnesia 4- The Clamp School Detectives are always "do-gooder" types, and their leader's motivation is always damsels in distress 5- Yasha and Ashura always play out the same basic tragedy 6- Seishiro's ALWAYS bad news Personally, I've enjoyed the ride, and have had fun seeing both the series' own original characters, as well as new visions of some of my favorites.  |

Tsubasa Reservior Chronicle has nothing to do with Card Captor Sakura, although except for the characters, the same characters different story. but I must say almost all characters of CLAMP is seen in Tsubasa Chronicles. oh and... Tsubasa Reservior Chonicles is not only a movie it also has an anime. this seem out of topic but.... XXXHOLiC seems to be linked with Tsubasa Chronicle soo it's really kinda interesting. Both of the manga series are intertwined, and readers get to see certain scenes from both sides' perspectives. On the other hand, in the anime version, Tsubasa contains multiple conversations between Syaoran's party and Yuuko, whereas in xxxHolic (except for the movie), aside from Mokona being there, there are no references to Tsubasa at all. Go figure. |

| in my view, it's like different characters from different stories by CLAMP appear in another story. like they're using the old characters (plus creating new ones too) in a new story. that's my view. ^_^ kindda confused in what i'm saying... |

I don't think so.. Sakura and Syaoran in TCR definitely different from CCS.. i agree with Mirai no Yume-san that every chara in TCR are twinners from the others CLAMP series.. for example,, sakura's father at CCS was fujitaka kinomoto but in TCR,, her father is clow and fujitaka is syaoran's father.. so i think it's different and it wasn't the continue of CCS..

my... my... let's refer back to what Yuuko (xxxHolic) said earlier. they're a different person but with the same soul. that's why for each world there's a same person living a different life. but their essence, their soul, is always the same. read Tsubasa : reservoir chronicle along with xxxHolic. then you'll get the whole idea.

Both. Without CCS, there is no Tsubasa Chronicles because it is the Sequel of CCS.

hum... Aoi Azzura it's right, Yuko-san said that and i think is that what links TRC and CCS... but i don't think it's a sequel CLAMP likes too link their production but don't realy become a sequel... same background with some familiar characters, but new pilot   |

Tsubasa Reservoir is a crossover of all anime created by CLAMP we meet our old characters but with their different aspects... like fujitaka and sakura in ccs then fujitaka and syaoran in TRC IT IS NOT A SEQUEL!!!!! Btw, Tsubasa Reservoir and CCS are different. well, it's the real Clamp who always add some characters from different anime. That has become their characteristic. It's CLAMP man!

They both are from CLAMP but i don't think they're linked. They have different plots. it's just that they took characters from ccs, xxxHolic, etc. and put them into TRC. baciscally what everyone else said.  |
