Sleeping pills

I have trouble sleeping......and i bought some sleeping pills but all they did was:
i didnt sleep as usual
made me VERY tired the next day

So anyone know any good sleeping pills that will knock you out cold whether you like it or not after a period of time(the shorter the better)
(those kind of sleeping pills do exist right?)

If someone knows any plz tell me.....

My mother used to have sleeping trouble, so ill ask from her.

Something named Triptyl.
And she did sleep well with these xD She still fells asleep before nine a clock usually, so i guess they helped.

I have no experince of my own, so i hope i helped even a bit ^^'

you did....if its not too much to ask......ask your mom if the name is right
or if she knows any different powerfull ones....cause i live in cyprus(dont confuse me with turkish/cypriot people....i aint one) and cyprus`s varaity isnt that high

thats not exactly sleeping pills but thanks.....
What i am really lookin for is something to knock you out cold 30 or so min after you take the pills.
yare yare.....couldnt find anything good enough yet....well i wont give up

Try overdosing small amounts of your sleeping pills, it might work...

A small melatonin suppliment (about 1 mg) taken 1 hour before bedtime might help. Melatonin is a hormone that our bodies naturally produce. It regulates the sleep/wake cycle of life.

You could also see a doctor, if you'd like. My doctor gave me ambien, but I was mostly using it so I could sleep early, not because I had trouble sleeping.

Ps. i cant see a doc.....since my parents will wonder whats wrong....i dont want to worry them or bother them....and trying to hide ANYTHING in this country is useless....its like you walk with some girl....next day all your relatives will know.............ok maybe not next day but in a few days.....serious
so i cant go to a doc....hmmmmm.....i heard there was those sleeping pills that apparently were REALLY powerfull....but are VERY hard to find....cause apprantly its very dangerous if you overdose on them....anyone heard anything bout those?

Sleeping pills are addictive. People get into some major drug addiction problems because of sleeping pills. People DIE because of sleeping pills, this is why most of them are prescription ONLY.

SEE A DOCTOR. Go ahead and worry your parents, it's better than having them plan your funeral because you OD'd on sleeping pills not knowing what the hell you're doing.

Insomnia can be a symptom of much more dangerous disease. Or it can be as simple as stress.

NEARLY ALL SLEEPING PILLS WILL MAKE YOU TIRED AND DROWSY THE NEXT DAY UNTIL YOU GET USED TO THEM. Taking them once will not give you the effect you want. NOTHING will.

Yes, I'm being harsh, but this is getting more and more stupid everytime I read this.

the thing is, going to the doctor will attract too much attention from his
parents and make them think that he has some sort of problem... i mean, i
wouldn't just go to the doctor... i don't want my parents to worry.

but then again, you're right that one can get used to it, and that's not
good, because you end up overdosing yourself. but if it's just to regulate
sleeping habits, it should be fine.

i just couldn't help it... i have to admit i got annoyed that some wouldn't
understand that going to the doctor would make certain people worry too
much.

@Michiyo- I doubt you know what I know. I know something different about this, but anyway I can't go into here for two reasons, one is because it's spam and second is a secret reason.
