Which is the better system: XBOX 360 ; PS3 ; Wii ?

Wii: Pro- Innovative tchnology (Controller BUILT around the motion control ability) Backwards Compatible+ (Can play games from many older consoles) and an affordable price tag. Topped off with an A-line Launch list. Only Cons i can think of are the weird name, and the unusual controller type might not appeal to some gamers. (There is a controller for the 'retro' titles though.) XBOX360- Powerful, pricey, and the modular design makes it more like a PC than a gaming console. Just you wait, you'll be seeing "Needs (insert upgrade compnent here) or better...." Graphically it is good, but the lack of ANY innovation in the controller setup is a letdown....but it did come out first. PS3- Powerful, hyped up, has potential for a killer line-up. Controller has motion sensing ability, but it seems more like a tacked-on gimmick rather than a planned out innovation. However the magor drawback is the immense PRICE TAG. It is the king of overpriced consoles. Most families with a Gamecube and a PS2 will most likely go after the Wii, then wait for an inevitable PS3 price drop (Like Me.) All in all, I'm more stoked about the Wii over the other two. Might get a Ps3 if they get a good RPG lineup, XBOX360 can rot for all I care. (Apologies to XBOX360 fanboys/girls, but i rather like my microsoft games on PC better)

Yes, there was one just like this. Anyway, I think that the PS3 will be great because of the quality of graphics and stuff, but the WII will also be cool, because of the innovation at the controls and movement.   |

From the technical aspect, the PS3's 3.2 GHZ Cell CPU blows the hell out of the 360's tri-core PPC derivitive with SMT. I have seen the screenshots from Fight Night for PS3 as opposed to the 360 version and the difference is like night and day. Graphics like this make the six hundred dollar asking price more like a speed bump than full on wall. The Wii is the more innovative system and the 360 is just a glorified Xbox. PS3 is large (around the size of the original Xbox) but lighter than the original PS2 so if you are lugging your system around a lot, it would be a great system. The Wii is the first system that I will get since I have never been screwed over by Nintendo.

I agree with all of you, although the PS3 maybe the most expensive console out of the 3 it's gonna be the best in terms of specs and it's gonna be 2x better than a X-box 360 also in terms of specs.  |

Wii system is the best, I think that nintendo had always be the best and always will. Always with something new, meanwhile the PS is always the same but with "better graphics", I'm the ones who think that a game doesn't need grat Graphics to be good, I still love Mario 3 (NES the best game of mario saga ever) and Yoshi's Island (SNES), and they both beat a lot of new games that I had see in the new systems. For example I thing Halo has nothing of interesting, I think Golden Eye for the N64 is so much better tahn Halo, and Halo has better Graphycs, yes. But the game style is so much better in Golden Eye. About the XBOX360, I really don't know it very well, and i don't know if has something new or is the same as the XBOX but with better graphics so I'm not going to critic thi system.. HURRAY for nintendo   |

I think I have something like an Xbox 360...oh wait, it's just my Dell computer...eh, pretty much the same thing.

I just got a PS2 for like 130$ Quite a steal I think. I plan to get a PS3 after a few years and see if I like it or not. The WII sounds terrific. I've heard that you can get a special program you can run that allows you to download games from other Nintendo consoles. I really look forward to playing ZNES games and whatnot on there. Xboxes are fun, the graphics are really well done, but it is too pricey and there is only one game on there I know I would always play, which is Perfect Dark Zero. I have the Nintendo game which I am addictited to, although I have finished it a number of times. That's my plan ladies and gents!

The Xbox 360 supports over 512mb of precoessing RAM. This allows more deatil to be presented on screen at one time. The PS3 has less processing RAM and thus causes developers to cram in what they want on screen at one time. The 360 innovated on-line play, no playstation didn't becuase there's sucks and nintendo didn't do anything with online play. Also because its been out longer the Xbox 360 has already worked out the bugs of a next gen console launch and has a bunch of already playable titles. If you're a graphics whore look at gears of war and bio-shock which prove that the PS3 may not be so far ahead as people assume it will be. I'm tired of defending the xbox, jeese there are too many haters and final fantasy newbs out there. Expand your horizons! Oh yeah expect a price drop soon, its inevitable. @Feo- The PS3 has the same RAM as the 360. 512 megs. I favor the PS3, why? More powerful, more games I'd rather play, that sort of thing. The Wii looks kind of good, but I'm still shady since the GC. The 360 just has no games that interest me, like Kid said, I'd really only play Perfect Dark Zero, that's about it. Feo keeps bringing up Gears of War, but in my opinion Resistence: Fall of Man looks better, it's got a whole modern horror vibe meets WWII thing going on. Feo also keeps bringing up the XBox's online, which really does nothing inovative, just makes it run smoother. Also the PS3 and Wii will be improving their online service, while the 360 has pretty much kept the same online service except added a few little features. |

In my opinion, PS3 and Wii will be the overall best, PS3 would probably beat the Wii in sales, in that the PS3 is a system people can depend on for quality games, also, 360 won't do so well, in that they rushed to get it released rather then take their time in working on it. As much as I HATE X-Box, etc, I'm not going to be like "OMG SO HORRIBLE YOU MUST BE GAY TO LIKE IT", more that, yes, it is quite good, but 360 was just released too early, that's the jist and fall of that. Wii, Nintendo, they just love to try new things, which usually nets them interest and oddly, they usually work. In the end, I'm going to go with the PS3.  |

I haven't watched X-Play in god knows how long, I got it from my gaming nerdiness, 40 hours into FFXII, I don't even think my PS2 has turned off in the past few days, yo, and John isn't the brightest child in the world. :p |

Wii, as odd as they decided to make it, looks pwetty, the whole literal Remote Controller kinda discouraged me about it, but, in time, persuaded me that mebbe it'd work out! Super Smash Brothers Brawl, ftw. |
