4 Letter Word Game

Objective of game is to test your vocabulary, i.e. how wide it is.
I've learnt of this game through a friend.
It's pretty easy.

RULES of the Game . . .
1. You can only change O N E letter at a time.
2. It can be the first, second, third or fourth letter. (up to the player)
3. Word formed M U S T be VALID, i.e. word can be found in the dictionary.
4. PLEASE indicate the position of letter changed previously in brackets.

Refer to example shown below.

E X A M P L E

Person A: H A N D
Person B: (L) A N D (1st letter previously: H)
Person C: L A (R) D (3rd letter previously: N)

C L U E . . !
For the game to last, try not to change the letter in the same position. (See above for explanation)

Pretty easy, isn't it?

E D I T E D!
To make the game interesting, player M U S T now give a reason (association) for the word changed.

For instance:

Player 1: H A N D
Player 2: H A (R) D - reason: Player1 hits his/her hand hard against the wall.
Player 3: H (E) R D - reason: Player2's owns a herd of COWS! =/

Note: The reason can be C R A PPY . H I L A R 'IOUS . IRRE L E VANT . I N S A N E!
