| This was one of the greatest game's I've ever played. After playing the older .hack's I didn't expect much from G.U. But the gameplay is so much better. I loved it. I only have th first volume though. I don't know if the second one is out... |

I agree that hack g.u. is much better than the other hack.I want to buy vol 2! Now I still in the last part of vol 1.Yeah,versus tri edge.But I lost to him yesterday.I wanna leveling then fight tri edge once again!

yup haseo is way much more that kite, but in the other hand kite way much wiser than haseo, i like the game but the things i dissapointed is that they don't have free map battle like in .hack series, i mean is,even in the world map you still have limitation space in the battle mode, in the .hack you can run freely around, but the battle system of GU is much cooler, but the weapons level system is really frustrate, but not much, still i like the 2nd form of haseo ^^. and .hack project is really a great project. and don't worry i think they gonna translate the whole series to US just like the previous, if not play in jap ^^

I played the US version of hack.Don't have to play the japanese since I don't know meaning of the word ^^ Hack is the cool game I ever known!

.Hack// G.U., I have been watching the progression of the game. Then came .hack Roots, the anime on which is connected to the game in every aspect, and downloaded it up till episode 17 (the download site I took it from hasn't completed it yet) and I could tell you that Haseo is very different from Kite. Haseo's cool factor is really much more higher than Kite but Haseo tends to hold on to revenge and is short sighted on his goal. The game it self I hadn't played yet (get the game over to america already!!!) so I am just compiling info from the anime it self. But I would imagine that the game will be also great.

I looked at it more like this- Kite is more open to people than Haseo Kite doesn't constantly hold a grudge(or at least doesn't show it) Kite can easily end up with "2" possible girls at the end of the game'_-. Haseo isn't afraid to show his power Haseo closes up more. Haseo Holds a deep grudge and always seems to show it Haseo shut himself of from the one person that really is trying to help him(Atoli) *This is just game waise since I haven't seen much of roots.* |

does the US haven't got the US ver.?? i thought that gamefaqs had stated the release date a month ago or a few month ago of the US ver. of hack GU. what took the DVD so long to get into US??? @mars haha you right, in the end kite have two option for girls ^^ terajima and blackrose ^^ but really from roots to GU, this hack really give off black atmosphere more that previous hack ^^

Yap,that's right.But I think I like Haseo more than Kite.I don't know why,but Haseo is cool! I like his weapon too! And this game is a great game I know,more interesting than the previous hack I think (maybe because of the graphic and gameplay)

Ahem, I just found .Hack//G.U. Rebirth at a specialty store at Canada. So I would assume that the game IS in US now. Oh, and I bought it. The voice acting is.... Ok.... I would say 7/10 in comparison to the Japanese voices in the anime (the did use the same voice actors right?). The usual 'new battle system' and all that comes now. Overall, at the place I stoped playing, I would rate it a 8.7/10. The battle system is great the first time but it could get repetative. Especially when you fight monsters that are weaker than you.

the Us version of rebirth is using the actual voice actors from the anime, I find it funny that haseo shares a voice with sasuke...It must be the hair. |

Wait... is there a English voice over of .hack//Roots? Or is the Japanese voice actor for .hack//Roots could speak english? I can't remember. My whole folder of anime and all the things that I cherished were deleted by my evil mother. So I can't remember Haseo's voice in the anime.

there is an english dub of roots it's on cartoon network at about 5 am(eastern time) on Saturday. |

Ah, really? Damn. But I wonder, How does Shino, Tabi, Saisaka, Gord, and Phyllo sounds like with the english voice overs? I hope they didn't mess it up. Ps. Oh, sorry for the off topic question, but it does still has a connection to GU for Roots is the story line in the 8 month gap in GU's storyline from the beginning!

yeah that right, even in the opening you get the connection pretty fast, since it show flash back about haseo and shino and i think the VA is different people but i find it very good compare to the VA of sword of destiny or magna carta, and yeah i give it about 7-8/10
