I remember posting here that some guy in France on their American Idol show did try to get on by singing the Saint Seiya theme song, Pegasus Fantasy. I have considered trying the same thing by getting on American Idol.

LOL me and my sisters want to start a band. And mayeb to band and become a Jpop band. LOL but I don't think it's going to happening. But I love Jpop and Jrock. My favs, are Utada and Do As Infinity. =3

I like jpop music heheh. Cause I like the melody. I wish to sing some jpop songs but I don't like to be a full time singer cause I only like listening Not singing heheh.

i like listening the melody too. especially Hamasaki-san's... its melody...'easy listening' and make me dance. but, i only have some of ayumi cd (not all). hard to find her cd in my country, and i don't want to buy from her official website. someday, if she comes to my country, i will go to look her live concert. no one can stop me!!! ha...ha...ha... talking about becoming a jpop artist... its sound interesting... but...i can't sing at all |

Yeah! Why isnt there more people doing songs from other languages on those idol shows? It's like an English language monopoly. I went to my friends house one day and i watched this video recording from some Asian TV program which was doing a similar competition. Heard that those comp only go for one night. The winner get to chosen by record companies. Oh yeah, btw, these competiton I heard came waaaaaaay before these idol shows ever came on. So aint no tryhard imitations either. Down with the English monopoly!!! |

SEXY Gackt-sama Yokko Ishida Megumi Hayashibara my female idol fa sure! Shunichi Miyamoto my male idol fa sure too! dont forget "Move" they rock! Mikuni Shimokawa!! Oh Yeah!! Minami Kuribayashi is a good singer too. Maaya Sakamoto rocks!! GO! Ayumi Hamasaki Koda Kumi is HOOOTTT!!! Bon Bon Blanco is awsome!! Utada Hikaru is good and she has a very good english voice. anyways that's all i could remember right now but i know fa sure there is alot more out there!! and not to brag or anything but i'm a good singer too in japanese my sisters my cousins and even my friends say i sound exacly like Shunichi Miyamoto and i was like what??!!! no way so i listen to myself and i sounded exacly like him... weird..but i have a band but short on one person but once i learn how to speak and spell jap then i'll write jpop and jrock songs and compose them and i'll also write some english songs too. buy Miyamotos mini album "Anges" it's really good. |

Great lists, don't forget to mention KOTOKO!~!! (seen her and Maaya in concert 8th row, woot). Theyre great gals and have two very different styles. KOTOKO's "genre" really depends on the song. Some jpop and jrock depending on what you hear.

I have to learn how to speak, read and write Japanese first. ^_^ I like Sakamoto Maaya, Utada Hikaru, and T.M. Revolution and many others. |

There was once a something similar to the Idol shows in Japan a back in the late 90's. It was a show called "Asayan", and it was pretty similar to today's idol shows. I know of only two artists that were formed in the show, which were Morning Musume and Chemistry. Anyways, some of favorite artists are...
