Anyone a fan of the Japanese drama, 1 Litre of Tears? Plot: (from wikipedia) 1 Litre of Tears (Ichi Rittoru no Namida) is about a girl who was diagnosed with a disease called Spinocerebellar Degeneration when she was 15 years old, and was able to continue her life until her death at the age of 25 years old. It is based on the true story of a Japanese girl named Aya Kito (July 19, 1962 - May 23, 1988), who had the same disease. She kept writing in her diary to remember her experiences until she could no longer hold a pen. Aya simply wished to live until the end of her life, and the purpose of writing in the diary was to remind herself to not give up. She shed tears many times, at the same time encompassed by the rich love and support from her family and friends. Her diary 1 Litre of Tears was published shortly before her death. It encouraged many people, healthy or diseased, because of its inspiring and courageous messages. As Aya wrote, "Just being alive is such a lovely and wonderful thing". |

hees, ive been hunting for that drama series from shops.. but i cant seem to find it. ='C is there any good torrent subs for this? i wanna watch! cause got kenichi matsuyama. ^^ he's terrific as L.

it's a fantabulous show.... LOVE it~~~~ it's almost like the movie/show "taiyou no uta"...... sorta like the same kind of storyline... yeah, you definitely will need tissues..... LOL!

One liter of tears.. It is reallyyyyyy...... SAD..!!! Sometimes I wonder why do such a girl got that kind of disease.. *sob* But anyway, it is a good film.. Very touching..

This is indeed on great story... And the fact that it's based on a true story wrenched my heart even more... There is such a story in real life? Hard to believe it... That Aya Kito is sure strong... And Indonesia shamelessly make a film based on 1 litre of tears... Copied 100% only modified with religion theme added... A real plagiarism! I don't know if they got the permission to make such a film... |

| i've seen one of it episodes, episodes 7, and ... she is very unlucky girl, she cant do most common thing, even just holding a spone is hard for her, thank God she has wonderfull family. but after saw this episodes, i doubt i want to see the rest, it is really one litre of tears. but i just know that this is a real story, i may watch the rest episodes. |

I have bought the complete vcd set. *Malay sub of course* The story is very sad. I almost crying thinking about Aya's fate. Nishikido Ryo sure is cute. Not forget about Matsuyama Kenichi. |

well, i think it be better if you bought the english sub, well that for your own benefit. of course it not wrong to have malay sub either but there a word limitations some language cant adapt.. and i think japanese language have many retricted word that malay cant adap, or if it can it may sub to long meaning.. well that way you wont understand the japanese word meaning.. |

this drama was so sad and touching! i only have one friend who did not cry at all -because she read the spoilers first. i got sick of the music though because i kept listening to it over and over again.

One litre of tears, a really inspiring drama. i still cry though i have read the spoilers, because their expression wAS so sad... I always touched by Aya's strenght against her disease, even though she knows that it will never cure. also her mother always giving her courage to live her remaining days. her sister, Ako, was the one mostly change during the story, it's also inspiring how the entire family had to change their life regarding Aya's condition. Yeah, this one will be one of the most memorizing drama i've watch. And, for the plagiarism, i also get mad about that, i wonder why many Indonesian people outside (not the netters) says that this plagiat drama is very good even though they know that it was plagiarism. i can't believe they say that. but i hope, people will actually realize whats the meaning of the story and prefer to watch the original one. Hope so...  HENSHIN!!! |
