I have & played the game....what i can tell you about it?..well It's a H-game made by the same creators of Fate/Stay Night...it's more officially called a visual novel game. All typemoon games & in fact the majority of H-games are visual novel games. Which means a whole lot of text to read. I kinda of describe it as a "choose your own adventure" game. Anyways back to the point....it takes place a year after the events of Fate....it's not neccessarily a sequel to Fate but it does has it's own serious story with one ending. Where Fate had multiple endings.....unlike Fate...Fate Hollow has a few minigames you can enjoy. The game introduces a few new characters into the fray...first of is the real master of Lancer....Bazette. The majority of the story revolves around her. Other characters shown are new servants Avenger & True Assasin.....Karen Ortensia is the new priest (replacing Kotohime). The story is very complex & would take me forever to explain it so i'll give you links to websites that you can see to endulge yourself in. First there is the Wikipedia site which is easily used to find all you need to know about Fate Hollow. Self explanatory....2nd is The Moonlit World which is in my opinion the best Typemoon site made by fans. It dwells even deeper in to the game....i highly suggest reading what the site has to offer. Well the idea of Fate Hollow being turned into an anime is a possibility...i can see it being made. Since it's only one single main story its alot easier than the original where that had 3 possible endings. Since Saber is such a popular character i wasn't surprised they chose the "Fate" ending. If they used "Unlimited Blade Works" than Rin would have been the main character while "Heaven's Feel" Sakura would have the majority of the screen time. However you would also get to see Black Saber during this storyline....& she's a powerhouse! We never know the creators may actually well be in the planning stages of continuing the series.....we'll probably know more in the coming future. That's why i keep a close eye on "The Moonlit World" site cause they seem to know before hand if anything new will be developed. On a side note if you wanna see screenshots of the characters & scenarios in Fate Hollow i can post some shots of it or better yet i can save every shot & make it into a zipped file & upload it to my file sharing site. That wouldn't be too much of a problem....tell me if you're interested. |

Cute poses eh?....hemmm lets see what i have....                        The majority of these pics are from the "Omake" file that came with the game....these are probably the cutess poses there is.....the game screenshots are all quite serious & dramatic. |

@ iorchi What do you mean? Did you mean the archived or zipped file of the all the CG in the game? If that is what you mean i can do that as well...may take awhile cause if i remember there are alot of CG! |

i hear hollow ataraxia will make to anime. is that true there's only one ending in this game, i played it many times searching for another ending, but what i got only the ending when all master & servant fight a shadow like creature(i named it hollow because my japanesse is not good so i can't read all text)together.  visit aolas.soup.io for your usual dose of seiyuu pics |

First off, there isn't a Fate/Hollow Ataraxia anime in the works to my knowledge. After looking everywhere and coming up with nothing but people hoping there would be one (myself included), I highly doubt there ever will be (but there may be an OVA) for the following reasons: 1) in Fate/Stay Night's anime, they followed the 'Fate' route of the game the most, ultimately leading to Saber disappearing, and Ataraxia has Saber in it which would be impossible. 2) Fate/Hollow Ataraxia picks up after the 'Unlimited Blade Works's Good ending, where Saber, Rin, and Shirou are all still together and happy-doo-daa 3) The game Ataraxia has too many little things that'd be inconsistent with the original canon, so even if it were made into an anime, it'd be more like a 'Fate/Stay Night Alternative' rather than a sequel. And by the way, I bought the Ataraxia game online (not cheap btw!), installed it (with non-unicode programs set to run in Japanese by default and with East-Asian Language packs installed), and when I run it, it still comes up with a wierd error in game that looks like a disc error of some sort in the game window...(idk, the vocabulary they use is beyond my understanding). It's not a windows error box type error though, it's an error that the game opens up with. Any Ideas?

@ aolas-san There is only one true ending in the game...but since it deals with a time loop you can say there are many endings that end with just one. Each of these 'endings' is part of the story arc...where either Bazette of Shirou dies in one of them...but since everything begins again on the 4th day they come back alive & try to figure out what is happening. The creatures you are facing are part of Avenger since he's the one responsible for the 4 day time loop.....the reason for this i won't say due to spoilers. There is a cool twist in the end so i'll leave that for you to figure out. @ h4xOr-san I don't think it follows the end of the UBW route since all the characters are alive with the exeption of Kotomine. If it was the UBW route Ilya wouldn't be present since she got her heart ripped out by Gilgamesh very early in the scenario. Wikipedia says it is loosely based on the end of Heaven's Feel...yet i don't really know if that is the case either since many of the servants were killed in this arc as well. There may be debates when exactly Fate/hollow takes place after but i don't want to go into the detail of it. There are some things that link F/SN to F/h....for one thing Bazette is briefly mentioned in the game as being the master of Lancer but got her arm...(or is it hand...i forget) by Kotomine who then stole her commands to Lancer. Also Avenger is briefly referenced as being the servant that was summoned but killed and was the cause for the Grail being tainted. Thus in the game/anime the Grail was this evil force...the black ooze is parts of Avenger. However his true idenity is revealed in F/h...being not what you expect....hardly an evil spirit of a god. But i will agree the the game is not a sequel at all but an alternate side-story or fan-disc whatever you wanna call it. It's basically a 'what if' all the characters were able to stay in reality. *Game issues* As for your question....i assume your copy is an original disc right? Strange that never happened to me before. I can uninstall my game & re-install it to see if i can figure out what your problem is. I'll do that once i get home...before that i'll post a pic of how your files should look like....to see if you have anything missing.  *thumbnailed*I'll get back to you as soon as i can. By the way can you post an image of this error you are getting? There are rumors of a Fate/Stay night canon being made but like Fate/Zero...Typemoon will have nothing to do with it. It may well be Unlimited Code Works...the arcade game made by Capcom. There are also speculations that another Tsukihime is in the works.....i hear rumors that like Fate/zero it is a prequel to the story....before Arucreid is awaken from her sleep....& before Ciel gets 'cursed'. None of this is confirmed..only fan rumors & speculations. Until we get word from Typemoon themselves...there is no new works on the way. Right now they are busy promoting the 7 movies of Kara no Kyokai (the first of 7 released on Dec.1st 2007). |

Ugh, the demo was in total Japanese so I couldn't play it at all. I've been wanting to play this for like, how long now... oh well. T-T`

Im not sure if it was this one or theres another Fate game but i remember when you have to refill Saber's energy you have to do it with her and she drinks your you know what to refill her magic. in the anime she just had to swallow some jewels.  |

@Banzai: that's the original Fate/Stay Night for PC. I thought that the way the anime creatively dodged that scene was kind of amusing, but I find it sad that I know exactly what you're talking about from the game.... The original game is great, and I don't know why they even bothered with H-scenes considering it was about 11 hours of reading before the first one. I think they could have done without it altogether, though that's why I like Realta Nua just a little more (and the fact that the voice acting in it is a nice touch).

The title was misspelled it's Fate Hollow Ataraxia. Literally meaning "empty peace". Bazett Fraga McRemitz is revived by the spirit in the grail named Avenger. Also, I believe True assassin appeared in the Fate Stay/Night Game. In the Heaven's Feel Arc although Zoken Mato summons him after Rider's defeat to Saber. True Assassin has one Noble Phantasm. Zabaniya: Delusional Heartbeat. Fate Hollow Ataraxia is a five day loop. after five days, instead of going to day six you go to day one again. All thanks to Avenger. The servants have returned because the grail summoned them based on Avenger's wish for Bazett to live. He was only able to know the people in the 4th grail war so he uses them to recreate the scenes in the loop. Also, True assassin appears only in Heaven's feel. UBW does contain the ending for the beginning of FHA but also in Heaven's feel "Good Ending" Shiro get's a puppet body and lives on with Sakura and Rin. Rin does become a sorceress in the association so It fits with the fact that Rin comes back from the association after a year. |
