Hey, I just got this in an email, and it's really sort of... amazing. Flat out amazing :D First, here is the Earth with a few planets nearby (and Pluto, dunno what you would call it now). Clicky! Next, here's all the planets in our solar system. Clicky! And now with the sun added in :D Clicky! And it gets even worse. Clicky! And worse. Clicky! Jupiter seems pretty small now, huh? Welcome to the universe! How may I help you? |

That's cool Sach! There's probably star/planets even bigger than Antares that aren't even discovered yet. the Universe in indeed a vast area & we probably not even scratched the surface on knowing what else is out there. Am i surprised? probably not....but it does make us humans feel pretty insignificant.....T_T ![]() |

Well, I for one am glad our sun is so small. Were it larger, we would all be incinerated. Then again, as Keynes said, 'in the long run, we are all dead,' so I suppose it doesn't matter that much. ![]() |

To be really honest, all humans needs to see this. Every single one of them needs their ego regarding this matter to be put down a little bit. We are part of a MUCH larger scale of the Universe.... 'nuff said, humans are just little insignigicant sacks of water and salt and other stuff that I don't bother to list.....
OMG!!! THERE IS A SOS BRIGADE AT THE RP SECTION!!!!

Oh my God... This is so amazingly cool... When I saw the first picture I thought.. Okay... Earth is kinda big.. but after that the other planets came in and I was like... Wow.. didnt know that Jupiter is that huge.. and when the Sun came in... Bloody hell I never knew Sun is that BIG!!! man and what freaks me out is that Arcturus is more then a hundred times bigger then the sun... And after I saw Anteres I nearly fainted... I mean... What is a hundred times bigger then the Sun is a hundred times smaller then a planet I dont know of... What I have to say is that I learned something new today... Haha... I am so saving those pictures ![]() |

When the sun was so huge it would have used up all its Hydrogen in a few 1000 years and explode. In my school we have the models of the planets of our solar system hanging in a corridor in the right gap to each other. Pluto seems to be far away but it's nothing compared with the milkyway or even the universe.^^ ![]() ![]() |

Well, that's senseless in a way oωo that's the only reason you're watching Planet of the Apes for like so many times already dattebayo~ XD Anyway, let's stay on topic. They're stars, and they're big balls. BIG BALLS :O there are also other planets from foreign galaxies, I wish I have to chance to see them, I know so little about the solar system and astrononmy, but it sounds so interesting yet hard to learn especially if it's something related to Physics dattebayo~ ![]() ![]() |
