Jiraiya because both of them think almost alike,have the same level of 'ecchi-ness',and also a Sanin level.     |

At first I though Naruto was a choice, as to be a sensei like Kakashi already is or something, and I was like, "WTF!?" But the obvious answer is Jiraiya, if you want to sum it all up together. They both train Naruto differently, showing him different moves and skills and they both use Naruto's assets differently as well. Kakashi trains Naruto at a more technical stand point with focusing more on details and really using his head more, where as Jiraiya focuses more on the power inside, with technical points on controlling his chakra and using his head more. The thing is Naruto's always so stubborn, though unlike other characters who are also stubborn while training, he's just arrogant. He never listens, I hate how when the time is right he automatically comes out learning his training skills like nothing, it irritates me the most. Kakashi knows he's no Sasuke, a true genius at what he does, but for some reason believes Naruto will be the greatest one day. At this point I strongly see it differently. It's going to take a LONG time for him to be even half the level Sasuke is at. I think if Naruto was less of an 455 all the time, he'd learn moves quicker, learn to do them more conservatively, etc.

Obviously Jiraiya... Kakashi never really taught Naruto anything. He trained Sasuke more than he trained Naruto... Plus, Kakashi wasn't the one who took Naruto on a long training voyage and taught him valuable skills like Rasengan. |

Jiraiya. not only they understand each other they also have a pretty much the same youth. when you look at it nauruto' team is almost the same as Jiraiya's team. a bit O.T. but tsunade did became sakura's teacher, and souske joined orochimaru. |

Jiraiya has been a very positive and pervasive influence on Naruto's life. He's been the one who truly pulled Naruto out of the glum mood that seemed to weigh him down after Sasuke the Douchebag's defection. Not to mention he was the one with whom Naruto has shared most of his training time with. That, said, however, I will like to vote for Kakashi, because he was Naruto's first teacher, as well as the one who taught him the most valuable lessons of his life: never to give up on comrades, never to lose sight of a goal, and to soldier on despite grief. He, IMO, was the formative role model, as it were, for Naruto. And the role of the formative role model cannot be underemphasized enough.  --> |

Jiraiya because he actually taught Naruto something, while I have nothing against Kakashi he was too excited about teaching Sasuke. Who wouldn't? One of the surviving Uchihas?

I think that both senseis were very important to Naruto, Even though Kakashi always seemed to always focus on Sasuke i think that that gave Naruto the edge or fire to prove himself even more. Also it seems like Kakashi has the same personality as Saskue all have "dark" pasts both are charismatic and popular in their own way. Kakashi also trains Naruto later on and acknowledges his strength. Jiraiya on the other hand is 100% the Sensei the Naruto needed. At the moment they met we could see that that is one bond that is unbreakable. Jiraiya taught everything Naruto knows from the Rasengan to his way of life. They experienced everything together training, going to find Tsunade, fighting Orochimaru and so on. The answer is definitely Jiraiya no questions asked. |

for me it's both, Jiraiya and Kakashi have their own skills with being a sensei to Naruto    |

Kakashi's cool and he's even my favorite, but Jiraiya has more experience and Naruto has gained a lot from him. It was from Jiraiya wherein he learned the Rasengan, Summoning techniques and chakra control. Of course Kakashi also taught a lot, like value of cooperation and teamwork but at that point Sakura and Sasuke are already involved.  |
