Which Anime are better dubbed?

I prefer to watch Anime in Japanese with subtitles, but some Anime are just horrible in Japanese. (e.g. Hellsing, Trigun, GTO etc...) However some Anime are completely terrible dubbed. Which Anime should be dubbed and which is better in Japanese? HAVE YOUR SAY!!!! =P  |

negima and most of Akamatsu's work is better in Japanese, but the english ones....UGH!! NYAH!!!  |

Hmmmmm... Personally, I hadn't seen an anime that is better in English. I am a little biased of course, after what Duel Monsters did to my brain ("GODS NO!!! NO!!! NO MORE!!!!"). I still have to see Trigun in Japanese though, I have seen it in English a long time ago and I could say it was decent.
OMG!!! THERE IS A SOS BRIGADE AT THE RP SECTION!!!!

| Honestly,every dubbed in are really terrible.It's better to see them in Japanese with subtitles rather than making the world upside down. |

If you are of the opinion that all Anime are better in Japanese rather than dubbed, you are probably japanese, or you havn't seen Hellsing in Japanese... |

oho... Is hellsing in japanese that bad? I haven't watched it thoguh... Anyway, Pokemon is waaaaaay better in dubbed version... I don't know why. I once watched the original version and i missed the dubbed one in that instant... |

| i have watched hellsing both in english and in japanese and i must say i liked the japanese better.sure, some of the voices fit better in the english version but alucard was much better in japanese and even when the voice fit the character better they sounded like they didn't know/mean what they were saying |

Well for me it would be Eureka Seven cause the japanese feels weird after watching the japanese. But most animes i prefer not to watch the dub if it is horrible.  |

Anime the best is when its in Japanese with subtitle. You can hear the uniquetivity of Japanese language...

Fullmetal Alchemist was awarded as "Best Dubbed" so I probably chose Fullmetal Alchemist dub version as well as R.O.D~  |

Among all the others, I think the only anime that was better dubbed (Aside from Pokemon, Digimon, and DBZ, an' all that..) i think was Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X)... Everything else I saw as better in Japanese original. Wayyy better. But Rurouni Kenshin - I didn't like it much in the original. Probably has to do with the voices...  |

I would have to say that generally speeking dubbs suck. I love subs better and 99% of the time. Tho Chromotry High(SP?) is an anime series that was better dubbed for the fact they talked fairly fast and lot of vocal humor that would prolly be lost if you couldent read the subs fast enough. But yea. I rarely like dubs. Subs are better and to add to it I am learning japanese so it helps to actually hear it too.  |

You havent been paying attention then, the Seiyu almost never try to lip synch, that is the biggest problem with re-dubbing. The American actors try to fit their preformance with the lips at the expense of the quality of the performance. The only dubs I liked were FFVII Advent Children and Gungrave. |
