Need help with the name to a Anime.

Long time ago, I'd guess its 10years or more I saw a anime movie and it has come up in my mind but since i was so small i didnt really understand and i would like to know what it was :> so i wouldent mind if you could provide me with some guessing. The things i remember from the anime is coming up. I was like 6-8y.o when i saw it so its roughly rememberd. Here is the description as good as i can explain it :) I'd guess its Science-Fiction. OBSERVE-------------->(Not involving any types of Gundam)<-----------------OBSERVE It was in space, was a space station, where fightingpilots used as barrack. It was humans fighting an alien race,(no borgs,klingons or w/e just humans) The alien looks like "transparent green/blue jello"when it was inside the space station. Its "attack" was to absorb the human into its "jello-body" or something. Serious reply's please, would be really nice if i could get the name of the sorce to this anime. Soz for any Grammar/spelling error. |

could it be Nadesico ?only hav some flashbacks tho..i havent got gr8 memory lol coz i think i watched that along with utena+zenki etc.. bout 10 years ago too..i was around 6 i guess..  |

None of them,I mentioned not any Gundam Series, and its just normal humans, not any enchanced humans ect. |

From the sounds of it it does sound like Nadesico. Nadesico aired 10 years ago(1997).    |

there really aren't that many animes involved in space that time..wait, do u remember any furry/fuzzy aliens in it? we might hav a lead here lol anymore more clues? think harddd ^^ lol i've only ever watched space ones like outlaw star, planet ES etc etc...don't enjoy them much |

Another one just came to my mind. Does 'Big Wars' ring any bells for you? I remember that coming on about 10 years ago or so. Science Fiction humans against aliens sort of thing. |

It is an older anime so you might have trouble finding a trailer or video to view. I can find a screen cap or something for you if it'll ring a bell. |

@LegendKiller - Couldn't be GeneShaft, KeLL said just regular humans, no enhanced ones. In GeneShaft the humans were genetically engineered. Also like you said, it was aired back in 2000. |

@ KeLLingH Here's a link to animenewsnetwork...maybe the poster may look familiar....i haven't seen it in ages so i don't remember much about it. Big Wars info from anime news network I doubt it was Nadesico cause the aliens were mechs not green-blobs. Speaking of mechs...did the show you watched have any kind of mech in it?  |

@Izumo- Neither have I, Big Wars was aired 9 or 10 years ago and I don't think I watched the entire series/movie. It wasn't that good of a show, decent but not good. |
