share your experiences here! i've been to ni hon twice once to tokyo and once to hokkaido tokyo is jus plain fun...shop at shibuya for cloths...run around shinjuku jus for fun...and akihabara was jus amazing... then hokkaido...i went during winter so it was snowing...but you honestly could not imagine the feeling of eating hot miso ramen when its snowing...or eating sweet hokkaido corn...the crab legs...hokkaido was the BEST anyone else been to japan? |

I've been there only once^^ Its like 2 and a half years ago...eh...cant remember the details... dam my short term memory >.< But its the place where i got my obsession for melonbreads XD  |

Hi. I live in Japan. Was born in the states though. I am in OSAKA area which is a "smaller version" of Tokyo in some ways. Tokyo has Akihabara, we have Nipponbashi. For games and such, works for me! haha Wow I want to go to Hokkaido so bad! not near though and this year, not so much snow ... whoohoo wierd weather! But rather warm than the freeeeeeezing winters ><; boo. Wow strange stories? hehe lots! hmmm for starters ... when first here, I did not realize how the doors everywhere were either obviously PUSH/PULL or ... more so .. automatic. I was heading to a bakery named "Pain De Mie" and I was absorbed by the name ... "Pain? My pain?" I did not notice that the door opened automatic. It was in a wooden frame btw, not metal. So after we strolled in, I went to slide the door shut, only to have my hand SMASHED in it! ;.; It looked like a CARTOON smashed hand! ã„ãŸã„ãŸãŸãŸãŸãŸã€‚。。。 Took 3 months for my hand to heal and you BET I learned my lesson that day. orz... take care, Japan CAN be harmful to your health. Next post will be on the day i first ate mochi><; hah ... love the stuff NOW ... however on first try?  |

I have been to Japan to visit my grandmother. I went to Japan last Summer and I had a blast. I will just say this: All Anime, All Technology, All Otakus (Most of 'em.) ARE IN AKIBA, INCLUDING ME! There are just countless Anime-filled stores and Department stores, and when I was there, it was hugely congested. It's a fun place. I spent about 5,000Y @ Akihabara and then 6000Y @ the Square Enix store in some random place. Ahh...drool, I got to see the life sized Sephy....-drools a river- Please notice in Japan how many bakeries there are. Its like the Food Channel crashed into Japan and started to give birth to bakeries. That is like the quickest way to spend all your money. Funny, I think overall, my family spent about 10,000Y buying Bakery Foods: Melon Bread, Pizza, More Random Pasteries, ect. |

i am here at japan, and i am staying here for good, there are so many things to do in here, every one is very busy, i love staying in akihabara for wasting time and in kawaguchi to play in arcade, i really love playing gundam in arcade because you are actually inside a gundam cockpit, hehehehe  |

u guyz are so lucky!! i've always wanted 2 at least visit japan once since dunno when! hopefully going next year..there was a plan b4 going there but got changed to Amsterdam instead...:(.......................but it was gr8 in Amsterdam too..lotz & lotz of yummy pancakes + shopping but no anime dvds lol so, japan must hav loads of these anime&manga shops?& i really wanna try melonbread seeing how Rabbit's obsessed to it^^  |
