I choose Mech Anime. Mecha Anime is better because you can see the robots cool moves. The manga actually has some events that was not aired in the anime. So what is better, Mech Manga or Anime?

| There's something magical about hearing a giant mecha standing and firing it's beam weapons at something else. It's very challenging to replicate that sound in manga. |

I'll go with the anime. The drawing quality and 3-d implications availible to companies nowadays (like Gonzo or Kyoto Animation for example) just outmatch the manga. and for all the reasons above too. Thoug husually the manga has some good notes on trhe mechs and that, and one cant help but appreciate all the doohickeys and parts detailed that probably pretty difficult to draw and ink.   |

| Depends on the series and artist actually, but I'll go with any of them. Because there are things that each feature differently and change some elements of their design. Besides, if you look at it, there's only a small detail and portryal difference between them. |

| hey the best thing about mecha are the robots right? then what better medium than anime! you can see the robot in all its glory! plus how it moves and sounds...you cant do that in manga...however some mecha's have really good storylines that are much better understood if you read the manga since it is somehow complete...so its fifty-fifty i guess |

I'd go with Mech ANIME than Mech MANGA -They cut out the good scenes in the latter... -Not to mention soem parts in Manga are really out of topic. -In ANIME you get the complete visual, audio, and the STORY -How can you enjoy MANGA, where's the action? -In ANIME you can feel everything -MANGAS are only good for quiet time and capturing the looks of charaters -Nice topic by the way! -Thanks for posting! |

Mech Anime... because it's confusing with the Manga because of all the lines and the dust thingies.. and it's only Black and White. @_@ so you won't be able to know what it is. XD

Mech anime. Why? Because it's more interesting (and fun) to watch to mechs fighting than reading those black and white pages with scripts like "KABLAM! KAZOOM! KZZZZZZT!" Edit: But, then again, you have to read the manga in order to catch up with the anime. And the manga tends to have a stronger plot than the anime and has some scenes which (in some instances) aren't aired on television...

I always hear a lot of "anime" over the "manga" considering Mech Anime/Manga. For me, personally, I like the anime. That way, considering this being a Mech Anime, you can see all the action with the music, noises, sound effects, etc. rather then reading it. It won't be boring reading a Mech Manga, it can still be fun, but I'd prefer the Anime itself. You can see action like in Endless Waltz more appealing and fun rather then just sitting there and reading about it.
