Gendo - By guessing at the meaning he was after, pretty sure he meant to use èªã‚ãªã„. Don't take this too offensively: If you're self taught, I would go find some classes and start over. You're going to need some more help than what people are going to or are willing to offer on forums. ã‚ã‚Šã¾ã™ is not used with people, ã“ã‚Œ is not the adjectival form, スレドã£ã¦â€¦æ„味分ã‹ã‚‰ãªã„よ。 ã‚‚ã†â€¦ã»ã¨ã‚“ã©å…¨éƒ¨ãŒã‚ã¡ã‚ƒãã¡ã‚ƒ ãã†ã—ã¦ã€ãƒãƒžãƒ³ã‚¸ã¯ã‚ˆããªã„よ。 |

here's another tip: leave off the ç§ã¯. it's redundant. since you're talking, people figure you're the subject by default. |

ã‚ã‚,ãã†ä½•ã§ã™ã‹ã€‚ Now it seems glaringly obvious that スレド was thread. I was thinking Sled or something unusual. I wouldn't split that third sentence there: ãŠé‡‘ãŒãªã„ã‚“ã ã‹ã‚‰... 先生ã¯æ•™ãˆãªã„ also doesn't quite go for the meaning you're after. The last line also seems, hmm. I'm not quite sure what meaning you're going after to be honest. If you can't afford a school, I'd suggest books like: This One to give you straight explanations of things. Though honestly, you're going to need a native speaker to really sit down and explain things to you. Everyone does if they want to properly learn a language. |

I think both are okay. The Japanese only say foreign words the way they hear them. Some people hear different things. *shrug* Sashiburidane, Aisakku-san! (Can't get to my language options... sorry). |
Re: 日本語
|
True, the Japanese say and spell foreign words the way they fit into Japanese phonetics, but it is normally agreed in Japan on which that way is - there is a correct way in other words. And, as dh86 just explained, the correct way is ãƒãƒ¼ãƒžå—, without ン (n). dh86 also points out that there is a long "ro" so the correct romanization, technically, is "roomaji", "rÅmaji" or "roumaji" (and others), depending on what system you use, but the long "ro" is always marked, to be correct. sorry its boring, but if you get it right at least people won't correct you! |
