Anime in Philippines....

| We pilipino should try to start doing some anime shows here made by our own hands. I've witness some people trying to do some but unfotunately it just ended making up comics and mangas instead. I was dreaming of going to japan to be part of this anime making prodution (i'm just wishing) but still as a pinoy hoping we can start our own anime here... made by pinoy... Lets do some KAIZEN in anime shows... hehehe.... |

i guess but...some end up really bad like that show called "BATA IWAS DROGA" back in 2000 it was show in rpn9...kinda like a horrible flash animation... i dont consider this anime but it was a horrible philippine animation... the best animations ive seen made in the phil was the chibibo toon's barkada trip.. anyway we need to support our loal artist right...besides wasnt some episodes of dragonball made in the philippines? |

Id rather make something different than follow the unique "anime"-esque style of animation... and... this is a repeat thread (at least title-wise) The other "Anime in the philippines" thread. The difference being the main topic was about the aired anime shows in the Phil. (and your topic having 2 more periods)  Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

Nagmucka ba kong masama...? Siguro dahil ito sa paghahang out ko sa ibang threads sa net... (Gamespot, Konami-all-stars, etc...) Either way... I liked Zparticus idea of supporting our own culture and art... We should support our own... as it will make us stand out with the world... (if we do make one... it'll be declared as an "Anime-inspired" show anyways... France is an example of that feat...) Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

oi hindi! nag bibiro lang ako pre!hahaha parang mga comment lang sa egm at game now eh...hahaha ung pa pilosopo pero alam na man na biro lang!joke lang!wag masamain! yeah and it really is...like "barkada trip" the feel is so anime... but to create an original philippine animation...wow that would be cool |

it'll probably in flash like barkada trip though... I still recall an Animated movie back in the 90's... Damn movie burned my eyes and ears I tell you... (EDIT: Yung insect movie ni Ogie? yun ata yung naalala ko e... di ako sure sa Ibong Adarna) we are still ways away from having the technology to make a great (heck... "decent") hand-drawn animation... Oh and I believe it was the Freeza Saga that Toei made here in the Phil Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

| i think we had an semi animated movie mad here...it stared ogie alcasid and his wife...isko adventures or something...it was hyped as a first for philippine animation but that sucked!...repeated frames...uninteresting art and uh just blah... |
